Pgamblin if you or any devver are looking to run homebrew code on it, by having the firmware upgraded you lose the ability to run such code so in Bencrest's eyes this is a downgrade.

If you dont know what homebrew is, its programs written by psp users for their benefit such as circumvention progs to get round copy protection and such and to run unsigned software

Its a sneaky trick by Sony to stop people manipulating the psp's.

The only negative thing I can say about it really is the wrist strap. Its stupidly large, white (which does not go with the psp) and also aint to comfy on the blood vessels at the bottom of the wrist.

I cant get it off either.

I was a bit dissapointed to find out they only have a mono speaker, when i saw the pics of them I thought that the speaker under the d-pad was a mini analog stick.

does anyone know if it vibrates, it would be shame if it does'nt, but I suppose the will release a vibrating battery for it or similar add-on.

I know how you feel waiting the whole weeks for something, then you wait all day and it still hasn't come and you get more and more apprehensive and annoyed - that's just what the doctor said to me.. I keep telling her it's not my fault a lot of us blokes get that same problem.. and she's like but you don't find me attractive - and i'm like if you'd have given it to me yesterday I would have been all over it but it wore off and the doctor says we should have counselling.. and then I'm like but you've put on weight and that was totally the wrong thing to say.. Wait what was I talking about.. Oh yes vibrating PSP.. If it does vibrate let me know and i'll get my mrs one with a game saves me doing any work and the counsellor will be pleased that at least she's getting some satisfaction.. well she's not pamela anderson is she.. But I digress - PSP looks good - but it's not meant to be as good as PS2 - I believe if they spent the money they could have made a ps2 the same size with a mini screen.. Then again I haven't got one so maybe it's just sour grapes, like that time my mrs said she was going to give me the suprise of my life at bedtime, turned the light off and whacked me over the head with a frying pan.. or something.

Theres plenty of imports on ebay, often by powersellers and there only supposed to take 2 or 3 days. That one looks OK, but the seller only had 9 feedback. I would look a bit more to find one from a power seller or someone with alot more fb.

Was the cheapest one I could find although its the standard pack minus the memory stick and the headphones and probably other bits, probably not worth it then.

Thats £150 and from a powerseller.

The value pack aint much, the case is alright, but nothing else is that special. However i would certainly say to buy a screen cleener, cos it gets covered in fingerprints

its not 48 inc delivery, there is a 7.49 postal insurance on top of the 7.99 postage so its over 55 quid in total. Still not bad though as Game are doing them for 100 quid
