I wondered if anyone can help identify an old fruit machine I used to play on.

It was in 1991 - 1992 and it was a £100 jackpot and had 4 reels.

My memories of it are a bit fragmented but I seem to remember it had all the symbols from the reels somewhere on the machine (maybe under the reels) and as the reels spun in those symbols they would light up and the goal was get all of them lit.

I also remember that 4 bells was £50 but there was another prize of £100 but I can't remember what you needed for that.

There was a high/low function on it with a number 1 - 12.

I realise that is not very much to go on and someone from back in day told me that they thought it was Crazy Fruits or a Barcrest machine so I'm going to do some research on that but from a quick Google it doesn't seem to be Crazy Fruits (or certainly not the versions that I've seen at the moment but it might be a variation that I've not seen yet).

I've not done any research on the Barcrest info.

I'm at work at the moment so can't look for it but will be looking later when I get home. I just thought I would post on the off chance that someone here has any thoughts on what machine this could be?

:-)

Thanks for the suggestion but that wasn't it.

I've remembered something else. We used to put a £1 in it and it would chuck out 4 X 20p pieces and then give you two spins. So it was 10p a go. No idea if that's relevant but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks :-)

If you mean like this then, unfortunately, it's not it. But thanks for the guess.

club connect although the bars are worth a lot more than the bells?

if not maybe a bfm machine where the bells are £50 then the £100 could be jackpot symbols

then you say the machine you put a £1 in and got 4x20p back so it could suggest something far older than whats stated as in thepayouts would be in 20p's but the £100 jp paying out in 20p's is very unlikely

have we a decent flyer for this club connect as this could do with a mfme update

Hi Vectra

Thanks for the guess. It's not Club Connect unfortunately.

Yep, it was 10p a go. You put a £1 in and got 4 x 20p's back. If you won it paid in £'s though (not 20p's!!)

The fruit bit looked a bit like this...
