Hi all, perhaps I am being dumb but is it possible for the machine to realise a note acceptor has been removed. I have made sure both the aux plug is unplugged, also the serial cable is unplugged from the square block ie loom. But machine hopper is still registering 250 not 125. Just a small thing but trying to understand what I am missing. I can see the vend bus loom seems to up to the coin mech does this need amending so the note acceptor isn't registered? Also tried the machine menu in test mode but not sure what I need to amend.

The max float on my £70 reflex is £350 with notey\ £250 without, it needs this amount for when it does the £210
i.e £70 repeat x 3

Currently my machine is set to 5pound jackpot so assume it's not that either :) . It's doing my head in thou as ran out of ideas and Google isn't being my friend, can see plenty to install a note reader just not to remove it successfully. Very strange, the loom is all one piece with the square block to the vend bus connector and other to the coin mech am I missing something here for the machine to realise no note acceptor connected? Or is it just programmed like this from factory and I should forget about it. I just don't like being beaten lol

Can't help with £5 float levels sorry. £250 could well be right. Have a look in downloads for any £5/mpu5 manual, should be generic.

It's on a prize switch. Will try changing that back to £70 tonight and see if that adjusts to 125.

Can't you just chuck £50 into the hopper and press top up if a smaller float is all you need?

£70 wont go any lower than £250(it sets itself, with or without note acceptor). If your sure it's set at 10p/£5 £250 may be the correct level. Does sound high for that stake/jackpot though.
