Hmmm...thought that said it all really.

Looks that way!!

Ohh did i say emulation,
i thought it plainly said that empire layouts minus roms are stored on this server!
Frightnight, ghost train,to name but only two....and if someone wanted to upload a newer version of a layout minus roms would probably be well within the sites rules to do so..as long as a provider was added stating the site doesnt host and will not host the roms for that layout......

No, me too Ady, I was the one that requested on several occasions that the layouts should be deleted as well to stop such posting

Anyway, I think the machine with the monkey is Empire by Project, not made by Empire :)

ill admit its about as useful as doing a layout for mpu5 machines...

Personally i couldnt give a f*** about empire machines as what ones are available are pretty cack...people only want them because they cant have them....

I agree, couldn't stand the ones I've played for real, although that Paparazzi on £5 wasn't too bad?

I don't see how having the Empire Roms available would do Empire any harm.... It's not like we are all gonna stop visiting the arcades and playing the real machines.... and anyway, the real machines rip us off anyway so we should not feel guilty for wanting the Empire Roms.... it's about time the punters got a little something back, cos we certainly get precious little out of the real machines. (Apart from empty pockets!)
The other fruit machine manufacturers clearly don't mind, so why on earth are Empire being so moody?

Because Empire actually got on very well with us FMEers, actually releasing a layout or two themselves, until people starting stabbing them in the back and using ROMs Empire had asked people not to use due to age.

Thats as I understand the situation, someone more 'enlightened' feel free to 'enlighten' us all :)

Shall we say it *might* not have been Empire's wishes at all and since when did Barcrest or JPM give anyone permission to host their roms etc. Methinks you need to get your heads out of the sand folks. :)

Again I see I am in the mist of a heated debate.

I must remember to open my mouth if only to change feet.

Don’t worry I will not release Pinball Nudger (with or without the ROMs).

It would appear that I seem to contradict myself earlier on, I have known for ages this sites view on layouts and ROM's by Empire, at least I thought I did.

We need consistency either all or nothing.

I am not a fan of Empire games anyway, the only reason I created Pinball Nudger was because it’s the only one I like.

I am happy to abide by whatever rules (guidance) you guys give me. End of the day I am a designer and whether it’s shared to the masses or just for my personal pleasure I will continue to create em...

Regards

Warnez

Personally speaking I think one of my best works to date is Pinball Nudger by Empire, heres a pic (surely pics cant be banned):

Its the only empire game I like, a very lo tech 2p fruity.

I am not going to disobey anybody and release it here but instead focus my attention to making some more good 2p fruities from the good old 80s/90s.

You say the only one you liked...have to agree 100% there, I used to play this on Brighton Pier owned by the wonderful Noble family  .....Was a fun machine and again was set at 2p play.
