Hi,
does anyone remember an old video fruit machine that used to play four games (4 sets of reels basically - so 4 goes for 10p - or 20p I think). It was about 15 years ago - I remember it was the first fruit machine I'd seen that used a video display.

It's probably not emulatable (if that's a word) but I would be interested if anyone knows what it was called etc.

I can remember that when you got nudges on any one game, it used to display the whole reel layout (or most of it I think). It was basically just a video display with 4 individual games fruit machine reels displayed. So for one play it would spin reels1 - do a gamble if you won etc, then go onto the 2nd set of reels etc.

Any information would be most appreciated.

Thanks
MCP

I don't think it is 5 alive. It was a video display.
I've enclosed a picture I've made to give an idea.

All the reels were digital on a screen (no moving parts). I can't remember the exact reel display or how many buttons were there, but for each credit it used to cycle through all the 4 games. If you got nudges, it used to display several more lines of reel layout to help you see where all the symbols were.

Like I said, it's not a proper fruit machine - more just a video game - but when it came out it made a change from the normal fruit machines - and was only 10p a go.

Incidentally, it used to be next to the door at the amusement arcade / pool centre in Shrewsbury (which is probably not a great deal of help).

Thanks
