Hi i am a new to posting questions and fruit machine stuff, i would just like some advice if there is any way i can convert my Barcrest take it or leave it crazy trails machine to take tokens ones like the Pachislo machines take and use these to give credits and pay out instead of using £1 coins.

Your advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Matt

Difficult... Although, depending on the model, you could programme the coin mech to accept and credit the tokens, the hopper payout will be an issue as the disks are sized to work with specific coins.

Nearly all my home machines I have ran on tokens instead of £1 coins, most are very easy to convert.

Get the coin mech programmed to accept the token on either the £1 channel or an additional channel.

Then my tokens I use are near enough to a real £1 coin  to no need to mod the hoppers or tubes.

The advantages are massive IMO as you don't need to keep large amounts of coins/cash  in the machines, home etc

Regards,

Steve.

What size tokens are you using though? Some would undoubtedly jam the hopper.
What size is a Pachislo token?

Yeah Pachislo tokens wouldn't be suitable, mine are thicker and close to £1 coin size.

This is why I like the video fruits. All are set to full and hand pay. Just a few hundred in £20s and you are away. No £1000s of £1 coins to fill hoppers! Play it down or hand pay it out.

I have also taught my midas touch to take 20p tokens for £5 in credit :)
