As someone who hasn't been a moderator for long but has been 'in' FME for a pretty long time I always aim to educate members sympathetically - after all, this isn't like NES emulation where all you do is download a NES ROM and expect it to work, or know a NES machine and no doubt the ROM will be available.
The only problem I think people have here is that you are clearly [IMHO] someone who comes from say Fruit Forums - nothing wrong with that, but we don't have the same 'anything goes' system over here, after all what could be an FME forum is now a place for open discussions on piracy and other 'underground' subjects rather than FME.
I guess you just want to hide your identity - which is fine, or maybe I am wrong?
Anyway, I'll leave this thread as I have to go meet someone but will be interested in how this thread pans out
Ben, I wasnt referring to you.
Indeed, you do always come forward with help (whilst voicing your opinion) and that's cool.
Surely, though, you can see where I'm coming from and what I'm getting at?
On the one hand you are telling an uneducated forum member that he can't have a machine (which usually sparks off posts from educated members about how daft there are for asking for said machine) and then in the next instant an educated member is pimping a 'hybrid' dx that the average joe will not understand the meaning of.
To him, of course, it is the machine so what about x y cwazt fwoots and anything else?
As for coming from any forum, no, this is my username and if I posted anywhere else you would know because it would be under this username..
As for hiding my identity? don't we all?
I mean, I've never met anyone named Barcrest Benito before

(that was a joke and not sarcasm)
Yes, I do want to hide my identity as most people in my position would.
It would be incredibly irresponsible for me to do otherwise
