the EAG which is our inland/seaside amusements show is jan 13-15 2015. the ICE show which for all purpose and terms is a casino show is indeed feb 3-5th 2015.

 

 

whilst the ICE show ay have more half naked girls walking around like you may find in a boxing ring, I`ll be going to the EAG on the Thursday 15th (next week). this has more relevance to my work. (that said astra have a large stand at the ICe showcasing some AWP's to which its totally the wrong audience).

Do what I do.... invent a tangible company name and if needs be some bullshit address, Job title like techie etc, job done

One thing I would suggest, is dress smart / casual (No ripped jeans etc, although no need to go full on suit / tie) so you don't stick out like a sore thumb

Have to admit this years ICE exhibitors list is not as good as last years (I did think Electrocoin was not there, but I did find them in the end), but is still worth a look.

I know a number of the guys from Jackpotty are intrested, and I am sure some may even give Reflex hell too, in their own way

TBH with the way the "Street Trade" part of the trade is going, maybe the best thing to wear with the way it's dying off

 

I actually went with a smart new pair of Black Jeans, my new Rush T-shirt, and a newish black jacket last time, and generally got no bother, apart from a tiny bit on the Novamatic stand, when one of the reps got a bit arsey with Jamsey taking pic's.

I'm gonna avoid the Electrocoin stand possibly, as Kevin Weir, Henrich etc will certainly be there, and they know my face..... see what happens anyway.

Will say, the Electrocoin guys are actualy quite plesent to talk too, mostaly due to them not having the same level of arrogance as some of the bigger stands.

Well thanks for the advice my nxt question was dress, I can do smart casual. Listed my partner as sales advisor so we can go together. Never ever been before, but will be great to visit and play a few new releases

For those who don't know..... this show is more Casino related than arcade (If you want more purely arcade, there is the EAG that Nails speaks of, which again is at Excel but next week), but you do get a number of "Street" (As we know it, Arcade) vendor's attending, like Bell-Fruit and Astra (Under the Novamatic Stand), SG's (Barcrest), Reflex, Electrocoin, Storm Games etc.

Pic's from last years event to show you roughly what to expect, which include a few from James, and also this quite good Irish pub near Euston Station, which out of respect for James, I may have to visit on the way back
