So I've managed to get the alarm to stop and all the lights on all the boards are flashing as they should the only prob is the alpha display no longer works?

Where's the cheapest place to get a quick replacement?

Part number is VAF1613-12LSR

Found one on eBay but it's a VAF1613-12LSR8, are these one in the same or not?

It's probably the same, the 8 on the end may well just be the revision number.

Might be easier to confirm with pictures.

Do the connectors/pins match?

The pins are exactly the same, (12 pin with no.6 missing) It should be here in a day or so then can try it

If its not the alpha display then with try and get hold of a spare* lead that connects to the MUX

Hoping won't need a whole nw MUX board

*anybody got a spare kicking about I can borrow just to test it?
