Cool..... it's bugging me now because I've been through all of these at least 3 times now with a hex/editor or notepad and found very little if anything to identify them.... well done though, brilliant and I really appreciate all the hard work in getting these as accurate as possible...

Nearly all the roms I've identified so far have been by looking at the name only as they're pretty obvious.  Plus the size of the roms is a big help.  And also a few photos, threads on FME forums and videos on Youtube.  Very few of them have actually been looked at with a text/hex editor because I'm pretty sure the name/tech is correct without having to do so.

 

EDITED TO ADD:  Another quick one.  'Danger Zone (Jpm) [Rom]' should be 'Danger Zone (Crystal) [Rom]'.

does any of the concept stuff run on any emus minus super nudge of cause

Nudge/Pull/Spin-A-Win are all MPU4, as is Red Hot Fever. 

 

According to MAME, these Concept machines run on the S2 tech.  Tried them out, but didn't have any joy.  The only one that worked was Super Multi Nudge.  But the rom that I used on my layout was 32kb, and all the others are 64kb.

Here's the last of the ones I could identify easily from the dat.  The others are a bit tricky to do as I can't find enough information on them:

 

zzz_unk ticttoes (Unk) [Rom] & zzz_unk tttsnd (Unk) [Rom] =  Tic Tac Toe Gold (Bwb). (These are the same as the sound rom already in the Tic Tac Toe Gold zip).

zzz_unk showspec (Unk) [Rom] = Showtime Spectacular (Bellfruit) [Rom]. (This is a bad dump of the sound rom and can be removed I think).

zzz_unk ht (Unk) [Rom] = Hit The Six (Project).

ZZZ_unk 56bobbvp4_1 (Unk) [Rom] = Open The Box (Ace) [Rom].

zzz_unk chsn (Cotswold Microsystems) [Rom] = Super Nudge Gambler (Cotswold Microsystems) [Rom].

The ones that appears to be nudge shuffle are not the same size as the ones we have hence they have not flown straight in... same with double up nudge.  The PCM has © PCM etc in the rom.

Blimey!  Didn't even know Ace dabbled with the Proconn tech.  I know Maygay used it at the beginning.  Very interesting.
