Well I wish you all the luck with BWB MPU4 vid, would be nice to see the plasma games.  There is a BWB one with a plasma, Big Match or something I believe.

J

Actually is there a separate rom for the plasma with these games?

Another non working game? Oooh Interesting, got any info/roms?

No, it just has large 7 seg displays.

Edit, no, I'm talking crap, that's cup final I am thinking of.

Anyone got a pic of these games, and do we have a full ROM set? DMD's usually have a separate ROM. This is the sort of thing I may be able to make some headway with.

Yes, the plasma is driven by a Motorla 68k with dedicated ROMs. Must have been very expensive to produce back then, probably why they only made 4 (that we know of).

What I really need first is one of the Plasma games. Big Chief, Apache, Elite, or Clickety Click.

Doesn't have to be super hi res or anything, just something that can be made to work as a layout so I can see progress with the emulation and know which buttons are  which etc.

I haven't got a thing on any of those, mate. :(

The only thing I can find is a video of Big Chief.  It's on the same thread I posted the MCOB backgrounds at the Mecca.

Here are all the other Barcrest/BWB pictures I have of machines using video screens.  All the fliers came from SPA originally.  Don't know if they're all MPU4 though.  The Jokers Wild one might be a different tech.  Plus quite a few of them are missing roms as well.

Wow, a Tetris game with payout?

Now this I have to see, my dad is a Tetris ace, he's had the rocket launch on the game-boy several times.

I would imagine this cheats or is very emptiable?

Fancy turning that flier into a layout Ploggy?

Here is BWB Big Match from the early 90's, I'm always thought it had a plasma display but it could have just been a large display like SPACE machines maybe.

J

No pics of this machine unfortunately :(

Bit pointless posting those roms without pics I guess.

If the roms work it should be easy to create a background for it, mate.  Here are the roms I have for it.  Only two in the archive, so I hope they're complete.

Guitar sent me some decent pictures of this when he went to Dave's arcade.  Just had a look for them, but I can't find them anywhere!  Must have lost them when I re-streamed my PC a while ago.  Got a habit of leaving all my FME stuff on the desktop and I forgets to back the stuff up.

EDITED TO ADD MORE TETRIS ROMS:  Found a better set of roms in the MAME set.  These look complete to me.  You at least get a screen showing on MAME with these.
