for future reference if you entered test routines and checked the switch test you could have checked if the dil switches are working without removing the board.

hi alex , its an old maygay cabinet that my uncle fitted acomputer in the board in it is a winfast it has games like bullseye, skill ball bingo, word soup etc 50 games it has
thats not working at the minute and i know nothing about them .

just tryed that test it knows when its on and off but there is a dot flashing after the 8th one 

 

i persume that will be one of the resistors at fault???

at first yes. then i played around with it and its been ok for over ayear , its my wifes one night about amonth ago she played it next night none of the fans in the psu

 

or the board are coming on it has an epoch powersupply which i metered it was fine but it has another powersupply connected to that for apc i replaced that and its

 

still dead i have tryed to find another winfast board but there slightly different 

 

i think it must be that because we also have aspare hard drive which ive swapped and its not that, and the annoying thing is my uncle knows about them and doesn't always answer my texts hes obviously to busy for me
