Most manus now have anti force coding in the games to stop people brute forcing the games and making them predictable.
The problem is that there is many types of player and they don't play nicely together, the casual player wants some action with a chance of winning a few £
The force player wants the JP or streak etc to make as much profit as poss.
And you have several types of player inbetween those or a mixture of the two.
Coding a game that satisfies all these types of player is near on impossible, and for decades that's why there is and has been many different profiles of the same game, typically used to be
Single site
Bingo
Arcade
Casino
As pubs fall into the single site cat, then your trying to force a flat profile game into a lumpy one, trust me that's not gonna work out to well for that player that tries that type of play.
Of course you also have to allow for cheats and emptiers which also makes games not play as the original coder intended.
But also over the years, some operators have pressured the manus to make games flatter to avoid people playing for the big payout and leaving it dead. This then in turn cuts out the desirability of these games of people swooping in milking and leaving it dead for the regular casual players to fill up again.
Also the gaming board has had some input on how games play to make them more fair in ways that an experienced player doesn't have as much advantage over a casual, new player than of previous times, like skill chances etc.
Theres a lot more to it than this but you get the drift.
If it was left to me I would outlaw compensated games completely, and make it so that no matter where you play, whether your a seasoned player or not you have no advantage over any other player, as each spin would be a random result.
I appreciate this wouldn't work too well on feature games as they stand but with a bit of work and the willingness for a manu to take a gamble and some major redesigns it could work quite well.
If done correctly it would still have a jackpot or streak possibility and even repeaters, as well as spins that will have no chance of winning and all the small wins.
So it would in theory:-
It could sill appeal to the casual player as they are going to not go through long patches of sod all, with occasional wins.
The force player although wont be as happy would still be able to play for the big streaks / jackpots etc as because its random they will happen at some point , could be after £20 in or £400+ that's the chance they would have to take.
Of course if your one of the players that just wants to force for a quick JP or biggest streak out of games then you will of course probably disagree with that lol
Final summary:-
Your really never going to please every type of player on the same fruity.
I hope this has helped people see it from another angle that you might not have thought about before.
