basically what reflex are doing is cloning popular bellfruit dond machines but adding some of their own features(i admit its not much).

The industry need a company to produce successful tested gameplay machines that would allow the supplier to buy the kits cheap and refit into old bellfruit cabinets.

Companies like reflex are keeping the gaming machine industry alive.

After the vile pile of crap they was showing off at ICE last month (I nearly punched the lights out of one rep whom decided to crawl so far up my arse, he was reaching the backs of my teeth), no wonder the indrustry at street gaming level (Non-Casino) is on life-support, turning out several clones of basically the same machine, and as Slasher has pointed out, very little room for the imagination, even on a graphic level.

Even Bell-Fruit with it's addiction to the grey bearded c*** we all love to hate, has some creativity worth noting, unlike Reflex CLONING.

Woah. Slasherx2.. must be affiliated with blueprint.. or bellfruit or something.
Infact I think reflex are f*****g awesome. They started on a shoe string (as you could tell on the early alices).. but now theyve made some money its getting better and better.
"Best of british" is quality and so is "lets get jackpotted.".. im so glad to see theyre putting the profits back into the machines. They are even developing a new tech to run on :)
Bellfruit are #@#@#@#s with the dongles etc..
Blueprint are rubbish for using unreliable technology.. (Pluto 6) even receieved a NON WORKING Brand new machine lol.

And slasherx2.. get in touch with reflex. I made a mistake on my title and main thread.. alice queen of jackpots is pluto6 and released by blueprint so theres a law suit there isnt there.

Your right nick

blueprint games are one of the worst technologies i have worked with.

i dont know if its the programming or the tech they use but the flaws in their machines are so basic.

machines freezing up nearly twice a week and all you get from them are "must be sticky buttons or a short on the buttons".Well maybe they should have included a stuck button alarm error like the other manus. the button switches are cheap and nasty and dont get me started on the hopper bowl. we have already modified the updated one that they sent out to us as it still jams up.

Not really had any problems with reflex games even though they are all mainly rebuilds.reflex have to establish themselves as a major player before they will stop cloning machines from tried and tested models.

bellfruit have basically f***ed up the suppliers by introducing dongles.why they couldn't just start producing rebuild kits of different games at a regular intervals and then they would have made money from that and also introduced a larger variety of games to the market.

Nearly everykind of pluto6 machine weve had has f***ed up. Constantly having engineers go out to them. And its not the easiest tech to go out on site and deal with :S

But really couldnt believe the quality of best of britis. We send our old bases out to reflex to get new machines back.. well a touch up on the cab and a new game on the top. But the workmanship showed real promise. Reflex have (in my opinion) even topped bellfruit with their new scorp 5 plate protection.
People have got to understand you dont just become "bellfruit" or "barcrest" quality.. you work at it.. build better and better machines and before you know it youve become a big shot.
:)

Start buying your reflex shares now.. theyre going up In the world.

Reflex awesome?

Not a chance. Try to force one. 2 moves dead, 2 moves dead................ keep this going the same............... IM. That is it. You'd think after £100 in it would do a bit more than 2 moves dead tbh.

I guess they are keeping it all going as they are cheap alternatives.

Spa.. it all depends on who has played before.. if you have a "trickster" (see £ 100 slots backfiring thread) who is constantly raping it then it will be flat for what seems like an eternity... but ive had some good gameplay in the wild.

Could be worse with Dond Louie Spence or Alan Carr could've hosted the program, image Louie saying 'what's in your box, open my box to reveal your prize' ooh I say you've emptied me out' and to think poor old Noel stuck up crinkley bottom with Blobby blobby
I still say they should make a Shameless fruity with all the swearing included that'll be worth losing a ton through

Sorry mate but it's not the case.

Trust me when I say, there's nothing on these. There used to be, but not now. Even then, it wasn't that good.

I've watched someone do their brains in one, jumped on and yes, £130 for a IM and a flat £100 ms. The board before the IM went like this, start, start, lose.

Then theres the fact they'll happily take £15 for a board, kill at £3 then do the same again, I know you went on about Bank Job being bad but at least that gives you some play every few quid, and what it fobs you off with on the losing turbo gambles it will just take that back for another go (look at your vid, gives you £3 then £3 later you're back on)

Bank jobs a different story and different manufacture. You can force one of these and get rewarded (at the same time you can get well and truly raped). Force a reflex and you have very little chance of winning.

I'd force a bank job over a reflex and day of the week.

Everyone here go download the reflex app and play them on your phone........without getting an IM board I will Paypal £10 to anyone who can show me having more than 6 presses without a Game Over

Total Danny Dire fruits

I thought we had £100 jackpots not £99.99 Jackpots and there is not even a £100 box on the game so if someone has won the Cashpot ( more chance of getting sucked off by Emma Stone while she plays with Rhianna) you are playing a dond game with a Maximum £70 Jackpot

Buy all your reflexes and then you will moan when pubs ask where there share of the "profits" at the end of the week when its taken no money.

My local spoons has 5 fruits and one is a Reflex and its been there 5 weeks and not once has it awarded the Cashpot.......and now in the past 2 weeks been lefts alone, even the Benefit brigade leave it alone!

Most manus now have anti force coding in the games to stop people brute forcing the games and making them predictable.

The problem is that there is many types of player and they don't play nicely together, the casual player wants some action with a chance of winning a few £

The force player wants the JP or streak etc to make as much profit as poss.

And you have several types of player inbetween those or a mixture of the two.

Coding a game that satisfies all these types of player is near on impossible, and for decades that's why there is and has been many different profiles of the same game, typically used to be

Single site

Bingo

Arcade

Casino

As pubs fall into the single site cat, then your trying to force a flat profile game into a lumpy one, trust me that's not gonna work out to well for that player that tries that type of play.

Of course you also have to allow for cheats and emptiers which also makes games not play as the original coder intended.

But also over the years, some operators have pressured the manus to make games flatter to avoid people playing for the big payout and leaving it dead. This then in turn cuts out the desirability of these games of people swooping in milking and leaving it dead for the regular casual players to fill up again.

Also the gaming board has had some input on how games play to make them more fair in ways that an experienced player doesn't have as much advantage over a casual, new player than of previous times, like skill chances etc.

Theres a lot more to it than this but you get the drift.

If it was left to me I would outlaw compensated games completely, and make it so that no matter where you play, whether your a seasoned player or not you have no advantage over any other player, as each spin would be a random result.

I appreciate this wouldn't work too well on feature games as they stand but with a bit of work and the willingness for a manu to take a gamble and some major redesigns it could work quite well.

If done correctly it would still have a jackpot or streak possibility and even repeaters, as well as spins that will have no chance of winning and all the small wins.

So it would in theory:-

It could sill appeal to the casual player as they are going to not go through long patches of sod all, with occasional wins.

The force player although wont be as happy would still be able to play for the big streaks / jackpots etc as because its random they will happen at some point , could be after £20 in  or £400+  that's the chance they would have to take.

Of course if your one of the players that just wants to force for a quick JP or biggest streak out of games then you will of course probably disagree with that lol

Final summary:-

Your really never going to please every type of player on the same fruity.

I hope this has helped people see it from another angle that you might not have thought about before.
