Thanks for the update.

 

Can anyone else get Road Hog working, with sound?  It works for me but silent.  Will the YMxxxx need enabling manually in the options, or should it do that automatcally?

 

Also, the RH roms are missing on the shared area Guitar, easy to sort but thought I'd mention it!

Just tried Monte Carlo, sound works fine!!

 

And after hearing distorted sound in MFME for the last 10 years, it's really great to hear it properly!!!!!

Sorry for being late, went out for dinner thinking it would be quick 2 weeks before xmas.

The link to my SkyDrive has 18 updated layouts being uploaded. Please use the new EXE with the new layouts to ensure compatibility. Matching ROMs will be uploaded as my upload speed allows.

 

PLEASE INSTALL THESE BEFORE LOGGING ON TO THE SERVER!

 

M1, Scorp2, and MPU4 games are now playable thru the server.

 

Running total can be requested in game.

 

F1 now shows available shortcuts again

 

The picture below is to show the best settings to use.

 

For dot matrix games, enabling Anti Aliasing will obtain the best graphics if you have AA capability on your machine. This must be turned on in gfx options for it to be available in-game.

 

The server is up now, log in when you can.

Thanks for the update ok first thing I did was to delete all old layouts I had saved and then I updated with the new link I now have the machines working the only issues so far are the new layouts ie Eastenders have no sound just the older ones how bigs your rock work fine I will update you with anything else I find

Same here as Tommy, running an i7 2700k at 4gigs per core, when playing for 10 minutes or more the fans go apeshit.  Had a look in Speedfan at my temps, Core 0 was at 80C, as was the GPU in my GFX card, and a shutdown was only a few seconds away.  Also uses over 1gig of ram.

 

Exiting it, and everything returns to normal in about a minute.

it made my cpu temp hit 96 thats crazy high. its currently at 58 just browsing the next and downloading some torrents

Step 1: Take case side off PC

Step 2: With PC turned off, hoover the fans out.

 

I'm using 1 core at 100%, if its making your PC crash then the fans need cleaning out. If you smoke, then your PC fans will need cleaning every 3 months to stay optimal.

There is a bug whereby the sound sometimes gets stuck on mute in the volume sliders. If you open the volume sliders and set tem to max it should work again.

Technically these are official releases. The standalone side is pretty much ready. The online side is being tested atm.

It's Vicky's birthday today, so not sure when I will be on tonight, probably not til after 9pm.

 

An updated exe is being worked on which will solve some of the issues.

 

With regards ROMs its important that the ROMs are in the ROMs folder itself.

 

If you extract into a sub-folder, they wont be found.

when you upload the new exe does the layouts need redownloading as well
