i spotted a link for stargames on facebook (same as the link here) and decided to invest £50. http://www.stargames...=15031&pid=5029 after a few spins on the roulette my fav number came up so i bumbed it up to something like £11 on a number and it came up. £50 invested and £50 to be withdrawn... i have never had such a palava to withdraw my own money. for starters you cannot put it back on your card! it has to be one of their prefered options = skrill money brokers, Ucash, paysafecard,or euro bank transfer. since i didnt recognise any of the options and paypal wasnt present i decided the bank euro transfer was the option for me. f*** me more like, you need to ring your own bank and gete 2 international codes for your own blody bank account, something like an ibic number and another internal bank number. 20 mins later when i have all the info the withdrawal was blocked because that wanted my fecking driving license scanned or passport. im mean seriously, they grab your money damn fast enough, but do you think you can get it back? i will NEVER got stargames again, and im £450 better off.

I won £500 and it wasn't really that difficult to get the money.  Your IBAN number should be quoted on the top of your bank statement.  Just took a photo of my driving licence with my phone and e-mailed it to them.  Yes more difficult than transferring back to your card but they're not a UK outfit so they can't provide that option.

I had a similar one once, sent them a scan of my (at the time) Provisional licence, and got the BIC and IBAN number from my bank, went through fine but took a couple of days. Didn't use them again after!!

I won £150 in the cashino arcade near me n they wanted my full name! Did I ask her for her name when I put money in?

Why do arcades ask for your name a sig when U win yet they don't state you need to provide this when playing the machines? Makes U feel like a criminal.

Never done online myself, you may as well go to the bookies which I must add is also a silly idea

I had to go through the same routine to withdraw my money the first time I used Stargames.  It's a bit of a hassle to do but once you've done it once you're OK.  I certainly wouldn't call it a 'rip-off' - they are based in Malta not the UK so unfortunately that is the standard legislative procedure for UK customers, as Duplu says.  Once they had my IBAN number and a scan of my passport the withdrawal was instant.  Very good site with good content and new games launched regularly - if they had a UK-based version I think it would do very well.

Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

I do empathise with you Nails,as ive been through many a similar situation as above. As a member of near on 100+ bingo, casino and gaming sites I know too well that  all of them have different systems in place when it comes to cashing out your winnings.!

And yes it may not take long to send your ID etc but when it is only a proportion of sites that do ask for this, you do question their individual policies.Wether outside the uk or not,do none of you see that this is a way of making additional profit in interest? I have had money withheld for over a week until the ID is verified, and you multiply that by millions of winnings around the world and these sites are making an additional profit from our winnings!

This is why I now play only on three sites-Mecca,Gala and Ladbrokes. As what ever I win goes back onto my card and usually within 24hrs. I won £2150 on Ladbrokes and £2250 on Mecca just three weeks ago-Labrokes winnings were banked Sunday at 1.03am and were in my account at 15.15pm the next day!

Likewise Mecca was banked the Monday evening at 22.50 and was in the next day at again 15.15.

They do not mess with your money and this is why I only now play on these sites, well when they give me a bonus or two!

My tip, avoid casinos period! They have pathetic and unrealistic wagering requirements and as stated their cash out policies leave a lot to be desired.

And avoid cassava enterprise too-have had a lot of problems with their bingo sites.

Jay

After reading your comment mate. How true it is im not 100% how ever to what i`ve heard from the grap vine any money over x amount £350 i was told if your stopped by the old bill and can`t give proof of it. It is seen as money laundering under not proving its source. I`m with you on that tho and reading it i do love your comment ( Did i ask her for her name when i put money in) lol

I find it hard to believe that not having proof for money on your person is enough for them to take it off you. I think there would need to be evidence of a crime in the local area say a break in and the police are on the look out. If they stop you in the streat and you have done nothing wrong they need reasonable doubt to ask you to carry out a search. If you are walking down the road at night after a large win in the casino and you are stopped by police how can you prove that you got the money from there? Only way would be by obtaining the CCTV. There is no legal limit to how much money you can have on you out in a public place.

Exactly correct.  I've never been asked to provide my name or address even when dropping a ton of money in ladbrokes.

I avoid any casino, that have written that they require a copy of your card, passport and a recent utility bill for withdrawals.

They can accept the money without checking, so I don't see why they can't pay it out without needing checks either. Not comfortable with some company abroad holding so much details about me anyway, particularly the passport bit. I personally don't get any utility bills either, because I pay rent and some because I have online billing only. Also companies abroad are not subject to UK law, so it can be a bugger to make any sort of complaint.

Thankfully, some companies can verify you automatically if you are on the electoral role. Mainly those based in the UK or Channel Islands.
