If that is true (More than two wires), I would think it's doubtful, unless a common pair which detects the on / off function can be found.

Whilst I can understand from a possible security aspect it's desirable, unfortunately I dread to think what the cost for one of these iFobs would be if a replacement is needed, also noting from an operators point of view, that having several machines fitted with them, they are likely to be all keyed different, so you have to make sure you have the correct fob to hand.

...they are likely to be all keyed different, so you have to make sure you have the correct fob to hand.

Not seen them for ages (we had a couple of Triple 7 machines on test in our arcade in mid 2008) but I'm sure the fobs on ours were interchangeable - however, like I said, they were test machines.

I do think though that it doesn't make much sense to have the refloat fobs 'keyed differently', especially in a large arcade. You'd need a bucket full of the f**king things!

In our arcade we had low, medium and high security keys - I can't remember the exact setup but it was something like tickets / redemption mechs and doors were on low, fruit machine top and bottom doors were on medium, and cashboxes were on high. That way, I could go round the arcade with just 4 keys (low, medium, high and an 87000) and sort out anything and everything that came up.
