Doh.... up until now I thought there weren't any roms for the machine I was going to 'hybrid', but I've downloaded most of not all of the old rom files from the database here and now that I tried to run the layout I already have for it, it ran fine.... :?

Is it going to be a waste of time to make a hybrid of a machine that already has roms?

maybe I should pick a different machine or maybe go for a classic layout instead or 'combining' OR....

don't know if this'll work, but I have noticed that you don't have many 800 x 600 layouts, maybe I'll go for one of those, or is it simply because you get a better feel of the machine if you can see everything and it's not 'compact'
