Been to Skegness / Mablethorpe this weekend, only found 1 machine on this setting so far, but I am sure given time, some if not most B3's will get an upgrade.

I would love to see BFM's Random Spinner set back up on £2 like it was in it's sec16 days, as it played a fantastic game then, and not limited to 5 win lines.

given time they will all go back to £2 stake. as for random spinner i doubt it will be chipped back as the machine is old hat. that goes for elvis/cashino/rr in the rio cabinet.

the kits for operators cost an arm and a leg, most £1499 for the chip and 2 panels of glass.

Lets use heaven 7s as an example.
1 pound a go and 24 pound jackpot :biglaugh:
YES i would play them .
But would you ?

Yeah they would give a nice game on that ratio and would often do £200+ streaks :)

I think most of you will say I to this. But going back to £2 stake is only another way for the goverment to make more money again. New software kits cost . People like myself and many others its wasting time pishing about installing software and artwork decals ect. They should of just left them as they were S16/S21 was superb. Like nails comment stated cashino and HHouse are good on £2.Lets just see if in time multy stake comes back also :bigeyes09:.
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..

Here is what the machines look like in Gala running 9 games each via the front-end menu.... 10 machines in total (so, 90 games to choose from)

Odd thing is, it was on a Megaslot (Was a 4-way setup, but being ran as a single unit for some strange reason, and Tower Arcade was not the only place to have this kind of set up too) that I found, and from what I know, they are pretty old, possibly not being that much newer than Random Spinner.

Went into Coral today to play my favourite CopsnRobbers, and found it been altered to £2 and 40 lines or £1/50p 20 lines and what a utter piece of crap it played like on £2!

I put over £300 in, and noticed it spins a lot quicker, money goes down rapidly, and as there so many win lines never once did I get a decent first 3 (never mind 4 or 5) reel line up, as obviously on 40 winlines a nice £40 win would be £80 or £120 with all the line combinations! Luckily I won it back on roulette, But I for one won`t be playing again! I used to play mega spins £10 for 5 goes but only 20 lines and was so much better!

Yes fruitys evil as we all know :-( But was £££ up at local Coral on the old mega spins, so was just playing with profit, and never seen such a crap idea 40 lines so obvious on playing it that you not going to get decent symbols very often, like I say £300 through and never saw one decent £30+ win, that coupled with reels spin fast as hell means it a money eater 100% worse than used to be! Luckily for me nice roulette (if you can say such a thing as just as evil) I got money back and more :-) Won`t be putting more than an odd £20 again!

I presume the other new £2 ones will be same more lines? It would/should have been better to double jackpot to £1000

also takes the classic 90,s skill stop machines i.e cash counter or cash attraction 10p/£2cash £4jpnow £2 a go equals £40 +repeat chance £80jp imagine seeing the skill stop hitting £40 then repeating 6times using same format as in all wins over £40 paid in tokens £80jp is a lot of tokes lol

On some of the machine - the £2 stake increases to 40 winlines (Cops n Robbers... etc) -- others and you can exchange a £20+ win for a feature & increases the amount in the Bronze, Silver, Gold post (Monster Cash, Captain Jackpots... etc) -- whilst others just say it increases the payout to 94% (Rainbow Riches, Elvis, Rocky... etc)

You'd have to fight me for it! :)

As long as the profile was the same as the original then I'd be well up for playing that. Not one of these stupid suck, suck, suck, suck, streak profiles of todays machines. Load of feckin' shite!

I'm quite shocked on how fast they got into amusements seeing that they came into effect on the 13th @ 12am.

They have already hit ashton under lyne (near manchester), and i wouldn't be supprised if they have already hit manchester.

I personally think it's crazy that £2 stakes are now available as they really must be a jacket pocket emptier!

I wouldn't be supprised if a £5 stake came into effect anytime soon (hmm i wonder what benefits you would get from that ;))

Played my first £2 a spin machine today, it went from 92% to 94% when i changed it from £1 to £2. I put £35 in it got three leps and came away with a nice £100 so left it. Still think it's crap tho, also the pots on all the games have been reset when they converted it to the £2 stake. Strange playing a RR on 50p now too only 10 lines i think.

All the staff was in their new tops to promote the new stakes :D

Ladbrokes have moved 3 of their machines to £2 (optional) 2 of them are real money eaters, Thai Flowers and Crown Jewels.

Noticed William Hill has a Bar X clone machine that has wilds in the middle that can pay X2 to X10. You only get the X10 on £2 a spin.

Don’t know why the Jackpots are still £500, JP is £4000 for that stake in casinos and many B3 machine such as RR are available on this stake\prize.

£2 is not that harsh if you compare to casinos in Europe, a 50 cent 10 times pay will cost around £1.40 a spin with exchange rates. Loads of the video slots cost 10 Euro on max bet, I’ve seen them on 40 Euro a spin it high stake areas

I wonder if £2 will be the limit, I remember that under S16 Haunted House and that Chicken themed one could be played on £10 a spin without needing a win first.
