rather than spend countless hours with no bandwidth while i download like a nutter, i`d like to invest in a sandbox. 100mb @ £9.99 per month should surfice.

does anybody else have one here and how easy is it to you. i will assume some sort of utorrent is already provided on the sandbox, so its a simple case of setting up, downloading to the sandbox and seeding for england ?

that should get me some extra ration points on ipt !

I presume you mean 'seedbox' Sandbox is a virtual enviroment where applications are allowed to run before being assumed safe or unsafe before entering your PC..Comodo Internet Security has one built in.

Ive always wondered how Seedboxes work myself..i know you pay a monthly fee but surely that would depend on your connection speed..i mean you couldnt give out an upload speed of 100mbs if your BB is only capable of 3mbs surely ?

Im presuming you upload the file to their server..then they seed for you with their ultra unlimted bandwidth.

for all i know the seedbox could be in the usa, its remote and you access it with software, setup the utorrent software and it downloads for you. if you wish to have your files from the server to you, they are direct at 100mb or the maximum your cable will allow.

Talking of torrent clients which version of utorrent do you use Nails..for ages i was using version 1.8.5 build 17414 and it was fine..since changing to version 2.2.1 build 25154 my upload speeds seems to be all over the place.

However on IPT homepage version 2.2.1 is the one they recommend you use at all times.
