Ok I WILL take photo's of Big Wheel, Volcano (with reels) and Fruit Explosion!

Is it best with the machine on or off?

Flash off?

Light off?

Sorry, everytime I take photo's they are wrong. I thought taking close ups would be best but it is the whole machine in one shot that is needed?

Also for Volcano would it be easier for me to scan the £15 decal set that we have for the 3D part of the board? That way it will be more detialed.

Let me know guys as I want to get it right for you all on Friday.

Dave

What the guys have already said, mate. Avoid flashburn at all costs! :D It's an absolute nightmare trying to get rid of it.

Might be best if you move the machine you're taking photos of away from any other machines so it's on its own, and has a good source of light on it so it shows the graphics clearly when you're taking the shots. When the machine is off, ideally. A few of the top glass, then the bottom glass, and finally the area where the buttons are. :)

That would be fantastic dave if you could do that, as dad says some of the whole machine and then a few close ups. I took my 8.2MP camera and a big tripod into my local to grab some shots of a machine but got busted and they stood in front of the camera to stop me taking a picture, bit cheeky I know but I have been wanting to do the machine for so long now.

Again thanks dave for all your support.

Kudos on the resources Dave...

In addition along the lines of the questions by yourself and replies made...

Lamps off and upload a single image (photo) and then advice given on it, say less of an angle etc etc and you'll soon get the jest I promise.

Attached is an image where I took about 6, the 1st being straight on with real bad flash. The angle was reduced 'till that went and this was the angle I saw it vanish at.

Its Lo res as its just an example, but this is an angle that Photoshop can easily recover at an higher resolution image.

Thanks Ady!

That is how I have taken some, I was worried about the angle so I am so happy your example matches what I was going to supply!

I will take all the pics tomorrow (Friday) a week later than planned! Lol!

I spent all day workshopping Nifty Fifty that Fruityshark kindly sold me, it is MINT, just giving it a overhaul before it goes on the arcade floor. Lootshoot next!

I will upload the roms tomorrow evening also as a little tired now. It will not be until late as I am going to a chaps house that needs 13 machines fixing...oh dear...I think he may be selling some, he said there are some oldies so I will get a list together in case we need pics or roms for them. Some clubs included I have been told.

Also Ady do you have any Blues Boys BWB roms around, I cant find any at all. I know they run on different CHR but I want to try some various in my one as the software seems a little too tight for an 86%. I know they streak big, but it can be a little dry and I do not want the customers put off.

Mine is the £8 tokens, would prefer £8 cash or £4 cash to be honest. £4 can be another 5p game!

Recession Busters you see the 5p stuff!

Cheers matey,

Dave

Ah yes of course Hotpots has a dongle!

it is a superb game on £5. We have it on 10p play. The Jackpot is easy enough to get too, doesn't really seem blocked at all (makes a change).

Sorry it cannot run, there MUST be a way to get past the dongle?

I know without it it will come up CONTACT MAYGAY.

I was looking forward to playing this one too!

Skill Cash (true skill JP) is very easy to get. Does a £30 + streak and never seems flat either.

One day I would (and will) visit the arcade....from all the reports 'tis a gem :)

Hi Ady

I have been and it most certainly is a gem I had more fun in there than i did in Brighton the day before, i did not even have to chainge any of the notes I took and i came out 20 quid up on the day, and dave and the staff are also most freiendly. I wish he would open the 2nd Mr P's in Middlesbrough, ( I will run it for him if he matches my current wage (and beleve me thats not much :))

Hi Dave

If this is the £4 version of High Lo Silver from the cabenet like you gave me the bottom reel glass out of converted to all cash then I can confirm the S/H trick should work, as out local amusment park used to have this version in the place, and I was able to empty it a couple of times using the S/H trick, BFM did do a version of HI Low Silver in what i think was Scorpian 2 cabs the same sort of cab on 2p £2 Jackpot but I dont know if that also did a version of this at 10p or 20p £4 jackpot this version had the S/H Cheat removed(boo hiss) :)

Regards

Excellent Cliff!

I thought I would upload them, you probably already had them anyway.

Thanks for the comments by the way.

As for opening up your way it would be too much of a commute for a non driver like me! lol!

Although I do not doubt for one second that you would be awesome running it.

I will be uploading the 2p/5p play £3 Jackpot Fortune Wheel rom tomorrow for ALL to hate as it is vile. We the rebuild Fortune Wheel as well as the original. However it has numerous problems with payouts etc so will be looking at it tomorrow. Eventually I will be reverting it back to a £4.80 original software Fortune Wheel. just taking me a long time to overcome the many issues it has developed trying to do this.

I will also upload Danger Zone, Caesars Palace and Casino Crazy £4 Jackpot roms.

Realistically that will be it for this week as I will be spending much of the week in the arcade servicing or in the storage for updating our website pages.

Much to do as always,

I also have not forgotten the photos requested and our member of staff located the flash card today so will 'aim' to upload those tomorrow (ish) lol!

Speak soon,

Dave

yes will 100% be doing the jewel in the crown.

We also have a 'baby' Jewel In the Crown just acquired so will do that one too.

you are right though, the Jackpot repeats more often than not. Very good gameplay.

Just got to get the JPM and Scorp 2's outta the way, although will try and do it sooner for you!
