I am currently in the middle of compiling a DVD myself buy it now at £0.01 + £0.99 postage just to cover my costs. if I list 100+ items it will cost me nothing bar the media I have to burn on and the postage

Yes it will cost you 40p per listing for a BUY IT NOW at 1p
If you wish MULTIPLE ITEMS on a BUY IT NOW then the MINIMUM price you can charge is 99p (And will still cost you 40p to list it... as well as eBay/Paypal fees)

I am currently in the middle of compiling a DVD myself buy it now at £0.01 + £0.99 postage just to cover my costs. All material will advertise all sources to get emulations from the internet, so that people don't have to buy the DVD they can get the links just from the item I list anyway, if I list 100+ items it will cost me nothing bar the media I have to burn on and the postage, then why will people pay £4.99 + p&p!!!! That will piss them right off

This item will just be so that people who don't have the time can get the what they what for peanuts and stop other people ripping the piss out of the people at the bottom of the tree who make this all possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it will be very tight to do it at that price.

1) postage = 41p
2) disks 8-10p each at a wholesale buy
3) mailer around 10-15p each
4) you will have to do it as auction as ebay dont allow anything below 99p so you will have a 15p listing fee every time 15p
5) paypal fee 10-15p
= 96p

you might make a small couple of pence from each disk! but you will have to buy the materials in bulk load.

The only thing that would be good for ya will be the feedback which will come onto your account.

I thought about doing this myself and thought it would stop of the sellers on ebay but to be honest I cant be assed with all the processing it will create for ya.

Good luck and I hope you manage to stop them all.

As per my last post, I honestly thought that the DVD compilation was being done without any profit being made, as someone has said, even 1p is profit made.

I can vouch that Geddy has for many years provided a full DVD collection (I should know as I have had one from him all those years ago) with complete up-to-date releases. He has done so without EVER making a profit from his collection, a true gent for providing all with what is needed within the FME community.

You see this is my point exactly about eBay! Everything done on there is for profit, otherwise why would anyone use it, and I have said that as an eBay member, although I have only ever used it to buy the odd thing, my family use my account more than I do! ;)

Geddy, as an old member of FME who has used your services in the past (even though now my disk is completely out-of-date ;)), you have my grateful thanks for giving me my kick-start into FME all those years ago. :notworthy:
