Just for fun topic, thought it might be interesting to see how much money our own fruit machines have taken as profit in the past :) could see a few high numbers

Mine has taken £89993 profit over the 12 years since new, quite a hefty amount wouldn't ya say?

Hopefully this topic will get some interesting replies

WOW! nearly £90,000 profit, what JP was it set to, also what machine was it?
I could understand a DOND taking that much profit in a week! ;) :biglaugh:

Unfortunatly because of the smoking ban & other factors fruit machines do not make nearly as much profit as they used to. Bookmakers FOBT machines are also to blame for this. :arghh:

its a £250 jackpot, expect it was in some club or something that was rather busy, i've worked out that it means its made about £20 each day since 1998, which when put like that, seems more reasonable aye lol, still, after licensing about £7k a year for whoever used to own it

i found the most entertaining figures came from the used elvis 500jp we had. some £150,000 profit and running at 92%. will assume that was over 5 years.

rule of thumb is that 1 category b3 will make more than the rest put together - per week.

Bar X's must be a close second then, given the damage they can do.

probably any low-tech machine or DOND's will come second, they can both take for £70 easily sometimes
