So, I was sceptical as you don't get anything for free, right? But I gave it a shot anyway. You can win upto £100 from your free credit. Your given 1 hour and £1500 to play with which can be reset if your losing. Eventully I won enough to get my £100.

So whats the catch? You have to deposit £40 to get your £100 meaning you have £60 profit but is the casino legit?

Is there a website where I can check to see if anybody has been ripped off by http://www.goldentigercasino.com/ ?

Your advice would be gratefully recieved.

It's a microgaming site - all of them offer that deal you are talking about - I used to use red32. They are the biggest linked sites in the world and highly legit. The only thing you need to be aware of is the withdrawal rules. I have manged to win from bonus money off them before and always had the money pretty sharpish. Again though they are not UK regulated but in a foreign area (Can't remember if it's US or Jersey or something). Anyway I always thought they were pretty good - but easy to spend your money on the sites as the coin limits are high and the games use great psychology to sucker you in.

Gotta agree with James here, there are 'many' free money schemes, but you usually need to bet say 100x your win before you cash out your free money.

EG you win £40 of free money, you need to bet £4,000 before it lets you take the £40 out (assuming you don't drop to zero balance).

Ok, you could bet £1 red £1 black on roulette for example, but that'll never win and green will kill you.

I remember being offered a similar promotion on a different site a few years ago, you were given $1k and anything you won in excess of $1k and less than $1250 you got to keep, as long as you played over 100 spins and within an hour - trick was it didnt tell how many spins you'd had which would've come in handy at the time. Also, I steer well clear of Microgaming sites, because its apparent the machine 'saves' from where you left off, as though you were playing with a individual payout percentage.
