Well after a hiatus of a few months I am briefly back in the FMEF driving seat.
Ive been working on getting the emulator to pass the test roms, and I have finally cleared the 50hz error. Now i am getting the RS232 error, which is fine, it wasnt emulated yet and so was completely expected.
I'll be working on the rs232 emulation tonight and will hopefully have it past that in the next day or so. After that, I have no idea what errors it will throw at me. Hopefully "PASSED" will appear but like I say, I have no idea.
BWB CHR is progressing along nicely, taking a while but progress is now steadyish again. I know what I need to do, just finding the time to do it now.
The auto speed function now works pretty much perfectly.
Whilst not actually working on the emu itself, I have been tidying up, formatting, and annotating code in the brief bits of spare time I have had, so if anyone comes to join the party, it should be a lot easier to read and understand now.
Still a fair way to go before release time, but at least i am back up and running again.
As usual all comments / ideas / criticism's welcome, as are any VB coders who would like to help out.

Sounds great guitar. As ever, let us know if us non-coders can support you in any way at all.
Thanks for everything you are putting into this project.

Though they will be only released on FMF I wonder??
Or as this is (hopefully a new breath for FME in general) released across the range of forums?
Not a downgrading comment, but I can see this being used.
