Not sure if I should put this in 'real fruities' as it includes them...

I'm after a new machine, either an S16 or a B3, not too fussed which one, any of the usual suspects would be great.

As like so many at present, I'm "cash poor" but I do have my current fruity - Club Fruit'n'Nudge (MayGay / EPOCH), all working and in good nick with locks, keys, AND NOTE ACCEPTOR. As well as this, I have an ALMOST NEW Nokia N97.

The N97 is factory unlocked and unbranded - none of the network crippling. 32GB onboard memory, touch screen, full fold out keyboard, all the 'usual' things but nice little touches like a built in FM TRANSMITTER, so you can play your music through your (car) stereo etc...

Photos, checkmend (proof of legitimacy) certificate can all be provided to serious responders... if I get something nice, I'll chuck £20 into the Fruit-Emu bank too as a goodwill gesture :)

Drop me a line if you're interested... cheers!!

Hi, not interested in swapping with you.
But i do have a b3 grand casino for £900 if you are interested.
Immaculate condition, 100% working order.
Thought id help you out if you are after one,
the only thing i can do for you is accept say a deposit of £500 ish,
and you pay me the rest in monthly instalments of £200 one month,
and then £200 the next month to help pay it off.
I'll hold the machine for you providing you kept to an arrangement and then id let you have it.
Obviously delivery would be extra but you are more than welcome to look at it and see it working.
Can't say any fairer than that.
Personally if you want it i think im bending over backwards to help you.
I'll leave it with you,
pm me if interested. Jon.

There must be some mad people out there on e-bay at the moment then.
Have you seen the prices people are trying to sell for?
Try 1400 upwards, no wander nobody had 1 single bid!
Nah, sorry disagree, slotto etc are about 400-500 yes but not your rio cabinets.
Arcades can trade in these machines for about 900 nowadays, if you are talking triple 7 cabinets, about 6000 still 2nd hand.

You cant compare a trade in price to a price you can expect to get! :biglaugh:

Trade in prices are always higher and offset by what your buying, eg they factor that in.

for example you can trade in a car for £1000 when the true value of it is only £100!

That dont mean i can just go out and get £1000 for my old banger!

i REALLY cannot see you getting anywhere wanting that price, good luck to you if you do tho...

Yeah you may trade it in for that price but if you want to talk market value then yes your car would be worth 100.
When i say trade in machine for 900, thats it CURRENT market value according to barcrest etc as of now.
Ok they may over value their stuff because they are there to make money.
Its a bit like the conversions from s16 to b3 for 1000 a kit.
We all know you can do it for 100-200 but its what they do.
So, like im saying if its worth about 900 market value, thats approx what you SHOULD get for it.
Not being funny but it was worth 500 like you are saying then why is everyones bidding on ebay starting from 1000 up?
Please feel free to let me know where on-line you can find a machine like that for the price you are mentioning?

All i said was my mate got one for £525 privately, with delivery and i had to help him with it moving it into the games room and was there when it was delivered and paid for so i know thats what he paid.

but like someone has just posted theres now one for £695 work shopped etc from a company so its not unrealistic to be able to get one even cheaper than £695.

Maybe £525 was a bargain, but as you said all the ones that are on ebay of 1000 and up are not getting no bids and its clear to see why people just are not prepared to pay that for one.

If you really want to sell it your gonna have to accept less than £900 for it is all im basicly saying.

I think you have to admit now that £900 is an overly optimistic price. The guys here have proven that, and they also tend to know whats going on price wise with just about everything and I have to say, I don't recall them ever messing up.

lets get it straight guys/gals.
We all want them for 500-600 and if we ALL say thats what they are
worth so it'll be a matter of time before people like you bring the price of decent machines down and get it for next to nothing.
After all, come on guys thats what ur tryin to do.
Called haggling.
;)

oh my god

where are you getting your material :')

dont think ive ever laughed so hard

if you want an unbiased opinion ask on the mpu mecca

those guys know their business when it comes to machines

hell go to fruitforums or jackpottyforums

they'll all say that £900 is steep

and if anybody on here wanted them for £500 - 600 they'd ask on here or buy that one on ebay for £695

come on get real, what kind of community gangs up on one person for one machine thats old & shit

Not being funny but how many have you seen for over 1000 compared to how many have gone for less than a grand?
Ok i admit ive heard of 2-3 gone for 600 mark, but seen over 20-30 in last few months for over 1000.
Are you seriously telling me every one of those people are living in cloud cookoo land trying to get a semi-decent price for their machine?
Just because 1 or 2 go cheap doesnt mean they all will.
I mean look at slotto or reel king, bidders up to 400+ at least and lets face it they are crap and mainly no good to anybody s16's.

They go for 400-600 (top end) on none retail sale - get over it and get real.. Just because people paid more than that when they were new doesn't mean they are still worth it - it's like the ebay pachislo adverts that say this cost 10,000 brand new - SO!!!! pmsl. The value of them is now between 4-600 and I watch them all the time on ebay - people oftenput them on for £1k you are right - but they never sell - especially the less popular ones like grand casino. No I am not doing this to get at you - it's just a fact.
