Can some one help me I think there is something with my laptop when I try to go on to windows media player it wont come on and asks to dial up to the internet then freezes for 2 seconds could it be a virus. please reply. And i can't click on anything on the desktop. now i can't use my desktop beacuse it is all frozen i have to use the start menu

sounds more like media update trying to check for a new version of media player :?

have you heard of ad-aware its like avg!! the same thing happend to my pc then i ran ad-aware and then restarted it and it ran fine
