A few weeks ago I played this for the first time in a pub in Blackpool. Usual DOND rubbish then after around £30-40 (£1 play) in gave a boar with a line of red phones meaning the DOND feature activated. Kept playing strongly till all but one of the 16 phones was red,and had got to £20/win stopper and then it suddenly shut down and re-initialised, keeping my credits but killing the feature.
Assumed this was a fault,but was hacked off.
Tonight in central London, a DOND Perfect Game did exactly the same. One feature away from mega streak, and it suddenly re-initialised for no reason at all.
Anyone else had this? Feels well dodgy to me

Does that not tell you somthing mate! 70 pounders are shit no matter what they are! Well that sucks obviously, but the bottom line is, it wouldn't have given you it anyway, unless you get a GATW from any bellfruit, good luck getting a mega streak from it.

All donds & £70ers r $hit!! I don't even play the 50p/£35ers today a couple was playing a £35 dond & after about £70 in 15 mins walked away with $hit. I don't play 4 gain any more only 4 fun im just lucky my local has kept all the token jp's because the owner no it brings custom in also u get good play for your money.

n thats what its all about,
gambling is meant to be fun and profit for the person that offers it,
however, with £70 ya more likely to be outta pocket, as i mention, no longer is it "give the punter amusement for a while n we'll cash in on pints they buy" but instead its more of "oh well, beer profits are shite all, lets agree with the machine supplier, give it enough losers and we will earn 3x the amount we would on pints off 1 person"

Stay away from the £500s.
Played Snake rattle and roll today and put in about £12 for an invincible for £95 off the top feature.
Although switching itself off is very poor programming, I can see why you're upset about that, so would I be...but the £70s are much fairer games than these £500s such as King Pots (rigged and shit), Mummy Money (Rigged and shit) and Rainbow Riches (all of 'em rigged and shit)!

yea £500jp machines are totally pointless, the local arcade has been flooded with them. Its turned crap there now. 90% are £500jp machines, rigged pieces of shite, i dont know how people have the money to play them.
apart from that its got a few con or no con machines, a lot of them 1 reel OXO machines (crap and no fun imo, mainly for the grannys lol), "casino 5 liner" (poor), the pacman zone machine (poor again, you can guarantee its never full because the everyday regulars empty it), warped £5jp (need i say more, scamming machine), pink panther with bombs £5jp (crap, only chance of winning is to put just 50p in and hope for a few quid return or it rapes ya), jackpot juntion £5 (no chance, costs £10 for a single jp) and a monopoly machine thats a clone of "around the board in 40 days" (where you need to put £5 in just to get on the board), so a pure loosers choice. Actually went in yesterday to self exclude myself for life, aparantly their area manager will be phoning me and i'll need to pay money to get passport photo done for them (sod that)

Maybe I'm lucky, but I havent ever tried the £500 machines yet. Hopefully I will stay that way!
When machines were £25/£35, i found i generally at least broke even. On £70, it seems to me it's pretty rare to get a JP or mega streak without at least £100 in, whether Barcrest (which in SE London at least seem to be mainly 70% now), Electrocoin (nasty!) or Bell Fruit.
Tonight I played DOND Perfect Game again in a SE London local. No re-initialising, but I did have a laughable bloke next to me. Old mates of his kept coming into the pub with tales of their lives/partners/jobs etc, and he kept advising them that they should have used a condom rather than f*** their lives up. This was between him putting £100+ into Casino 5 Liner and winning f**k all.
Oh, and happy Xmas by the way, all of ya! May 2010 bring whatever youn want....

those £500's are usually all or nothing machines .....
but the £1000's they suck between jackpots is totally out of order.
I think any pots game is a bad idea.... who's gonna play one when the gold one has just gone ...lol
Bring back the tenner jackpots .... plenty of gameplay for your money back then .

Don't forget about some astras what suck 1000s and then still don't pay a 500 as there on soft profile now thats out of order.
