I'm not willing to argue on this topic anymore, seeing as how I haven't played a machine for the past 4 days and never will do again.

Wow BB,you really have will power.
Well done on having given them up for such a long time.

So, we now get a message saying

'We are sorry, but you are going to be shagged on the HiLo'

No offense, that is already in use, shown by the 'The chance of winning any game or feature is not necessarily that shown by the odds displayed'

So AFAIK, nothing has come of it.

Hence, yes, it IS pathetic.

My thread with reference to the JP/Stake and %age issue has now dropped from the main page, which is good, as it was causing 'tension'.

I would like to say that if you think machines are ripping you off on the Hi Lo, don't be such a goon and play them in the first place. If you didn't know that a machine could kill you on the Hi Lo, then I hope you lose ALL of your money in them, you deserve to.

Jesus! What a pathetic moron DickJockey (sorry Monkey) is. He tried to make BB looked petty, whilst making an arse of himself in the process. I think it was fairlety obvious gambles always were rigged, how else to you explain that most of the time, when you need 1 gamble for the JP, you are faced with a middle number - that's not random. And also if you were guaranteed to win on 'good numbers' - then it wouldn't be a gamble.

Btw, while we're on the subject of labels, can someone explain the meaning of the motif on club machines that "due to the sequencing of the reels certain winning combinations are not available in every game"? That's always confused me.

Lol, never understood that myself. Something the 'Gaming Board of Great Britain' - [www.gbgb.co.uk I think] - have requested Club Machines have displayed on them.

When you consider that the only sequencing is determined by the CPU and %age payouts, it gives the impression the machine is random without it actually being so :S

That's an easy one. It simply means that Jackpot (or another win but I will use JP as an example) may not always be available due to the positions of the reels when you enter the feature. Many machines respin the reels as the feature starts, and on some it is impossible to get a jackpot because of any of the following reasons (and probably a lot more reasons)

1. A cherry is in the way if you were trying to nudge to Jackpot, and one cherry is a win on that machine
2. The feature has a limited amount of nudges as a maximum, and when you enter the feature it may need more than that maximum to be able to nudge to the jackpot (often 32 is the max, and a club machine may have 16*4 reel positions (64), so if JP symbols were all on the bottom row and the machine cannot nudge up, you would need 60 nudges to obtain it)

Basically it is just telling you that Jackpot is not always going to be available because the reels may be in an incompatible position.

Not all machines have JP as a possible feature board win, so reels may be the only way. (e.g a number of 1990's BFM clubbers the maximum available from the hi-lo feature trail was cashpot, which of course may not be the jp value on that feature)

Ahhh...cheers for clearing that up!

I thought it was with reference to the reel game rather than the feature game, and was some pathetic attempt at covering up the predetermined nature of machines :)
