OUCH!!!!

My gf broke those 3 bones once and had a metal plate with 5 pins and 2 screws. the 2 scrws are still in there. eek.

Hope you feel better now. Have they given you some good pain killers?

Do what I did, when I ended up in the QMC with a bust arm..... take a lappy in, and fill it with as much stuff as you can, and take a good set of headphones.

Make sure that any chargers are of the sealed plug type, or they may bitch about you using em.

Certanaly helped me when I was in, to pass the time.

Just make sure there is no porn on it, though I did get asked when I had me cock sorted in Urolagy once. Tolled the guy..... think it's a bit dangerous having porn on the comp, especaly as you have just hacked me best mate to bits!!!

It will take a while bud, and with psyo too, but stick with it, you will pull through.

Well what i night last night. Went out in cheltenham for a few beers with some friends and on the way home i decided to try and take a shortcut down an ally. It was pitch dark and i was a lil tipsy when all of a sudden my foot got caught under something. There was no way to stop myself from falling and started to fall forwards. The next thing i know i'm lying on my back but with my foot still stuck under the metal the same way as it was when i started to fall. My gf tried to help me move but i could not move as i was in so much pain. I managed after about 5 minutes to slide towards my foot and releas it. The problem was my feet looked like it was just dangling their, i could not feel my toes and i was being sick because of the amount of pain i was in. My gf called for an ambulance which was there in minutes. The guy took my boot off and he was like oh boy this is not good. Anyways off we go to hospital and after 4 x-rays they said that i had broken the two bones in my ankle and had twisted my foot backwards which tor the things in there too. They then took me to have a plaster put on and at the same time they moved my bones and foot back into place. Jesus it bloody hurt, even with the gas and air. They let me record it on my mobile and i had some very choice words lol. Today at 9am i was seen by the doc who gave me the bad news to say i would need to go and have an operation to have some plates and screws put in to hold it all in place while it heals over the next 6 to 10 weeks. So went in for my operation at 10am and got out at just gone 12.15

Not very happy as it's my birthday soon and i will not be fixed in time, also it will be hard for me to have my lil boy as i won't be able to do much with him. So all in all i'm depressed that i will have to be in hospital for days with no tv. Anyone wanna come keep me company lol i'm in chelt hospital :-D

I lucky in one way. The gf works at the hospital just round the corner so she can come visit me on her dinner break and after she finishes work.

I'm just worried about the cruches as my wrists ain't too strong with me having arthritis. So don't know whats going to go on there.

On another note does anyone know if the post men r on strike yet or when they plan to do so?

Reminds me of the guy, who slammed his Ducatti into some metal bollards..... by his own admission, he should have been dead, but he pulled through.

Mind you, he was stapled, plated, and braced to the hilt, but still managed to perv at one of the night nurses, like me.

Unfortunaly for him, he could not sort his stiffy out, due to his f***ed arms, but I was ok

Sorry to hear of your mis-fortunes James..i remember breaking my hand (through my own fault) and was in plaster for 2 weeks it was murder.

Thanks for your messages guys nice to have your support. I will be back home by thursday or friday then all i need is a good copy of windows xp so i can get my pc back up and running. Which will give me something to do while i'm off my feet.

You should have a copy on those DVD's I sent (XP 9-in-1 ISO)..... or is it a key you need?
