Made an advert in the Classifieds area, but it chopped off some important bits, and then won't allow me to edit it. Since it's not really a sale, more of a 'giveaway', I hope people won't mind me sticking this thread in the main forums.
Basically, I've a 'complete' example of the above machine for sale (for the huge sum of £0.00). It's in the original JPM Vogue cabinet, and is 'complete' in that it has all the required components in it.
However, since I bought it a couple of years back, the touchscreen hasn't worked. I was always intending to get it up and running, but have now run out of space - grabbed myself a scooter on eBay earlier and need this gone to make room in the garage for it!!
The last time it was fired up, it turned on fine, took coins fine, *but* the touchscreen wouldn't respond at all. Therefore, it's sold as 'spares or repair'.
It comes with an extra JPM Impact '94 mainboard (admittedly some bent pins - untested) and an extra Programme card, with no PROMs fitted. It has VIDMEM chip on it, so I'm sure it's compatible with this machine.
I was informed ages ago that the fault might be the 'interface card' between the touchscreen and the Impact unit itself, but never found the time to investigate.
All I want is someone to collect it. No money need change hands. Feel free to make a donation to a charity or this site if you wish, but I personally want no material gain from this sale.
It's not in mint condition, but I'll gladly give it a wipedown and test it for any potential buyers, I'd just much rather give it away than scrap it as someone might be able to restore it and hopefully make uses of it for the emulation type stuff.
Any questions, PM me
Cheers,
Ben
