Thanks to Ploggy for letting me destroy all his hard work & making it a classic

Ploggys confirmed he's doing a 1280 & i thought i'd do a classic version for all us laptop users

easy stuff really as ploggy did all the hard stuff, i've just gotta rename a load of stuff & rearrange it all

(im stuck on shite reso so its all a mess atm

couldnt work with the laptop on its side)

may be released tomorrow if all goes well & theres no distractions

EDIT: is it just me or has the template for a release swapped with forthcoming releases? this makes it seem as though eminemster has released it tonight, he hasnt made a mistake it is in the correct category - forthcoming releases. and on ploggy's release earlier today it didnt have the template hmm strange...

That's cheating to the extreme if you ask me, a classic should be done from scratch.

Many people have tried reverse engineering a DX in the past and then claimed the classic as their own work. Its just not fair IMHO.

Its up to Ploggy I suppose. If he's happy for you to do this then fine.

I agree & i dont intend to claim it as my own, i even state ploggy did the DX 1st & that was all the hard work, all ive done is turn it into a classic

Would it be incredibly mean of me to say that 'convering a graphic layout to a classic layout (a backward step) should take about 2 hours'?

Seriously, I think it's nice you are trying something new, but it's not difficult. It's been ages since I did it, but surely all you do is Right Click on the mouse of hundred or so times, change Graphic Lamps to just plain Lamps, type in a little bit and jobs a good'un?

So... cheers for making the effort, but what you are attempting is 'layout by numbers', infact it's even easier than that.
