Well, seeing as how they will be coming to an arcade near you soon, heres a couple of pictures. Apologies if you've already seen these.

Anyway, these are all by Astra, and the weirdest of the lot is probably Divas Reels. Apparently when you hit the 'jackpot' on the top reels, it either awards £25, £70 or a 'Mystery Win'. Is that possible? Surely if it says 'Jackpot', you can reasonably expect the highest win on offer?!

I suppose it'll have to pick the jackpot amount in advance and warn the player, otherwise it's misleading as hell. It's still a bit dodgy though :)

so would the mystery jackpot be either £25/£70 or something completly different like a tenner maybe?

Honestly not a clue.

I was wondering if perhaps they'd integrated a multi-stake multi-jackpot machine which would actually be quite interesting, for example

a) 25p Play, £25 Jackpot
B) 50p Play, Mystery Jackpot
c) 100p Play, £70 Jackpot

... but I doubt that is what they've done, because the other machines on offer are set to £70, and offering players a choice is a no-no :)

wow

I sure hope they'll be doing normal fruities in 70jp

Cause 50p a spin on those would easily take your money & not give much playability

Ahh, the innocence (and perhaps ignorance) of youth.

Come back and tell me if you still feel the same way when you've been playing £70 JP for say 3 months. Mind you... I assume you don't play £25 / £35, so you'd probably be happy with such a stupid jackpot level.

It can only go downhill from here for millions of gamblers who gamble beyond their means. Its bad enough now at 50p/£35 jackpots. How do they get away it?. As far as i can see the pics of the new machines are clones of older models, so nothing exciting there. My advice is, if your gonna play for £1 a spin go on the £500 jackpot machines and give yourself a better chance of winning some decent money.

i agree about the reelking being a robbin swine .
knowing the attendant in my local arcade .. she said the £1 play-£500jackpot machines can take up to £12'000 between jackpots ....

12 grand between jackpots, i know bandits are bandits and take all your money, but i find that hard to believe...Unless she's trying to tell you something and do you a favour...

I think you misinterperated what i said

so i hope for their sake they release em, (shoulda made myself more clear)

and i do play 35ers every now again fyi :)

They're Random machines so that is completely feasible. At some point along their random route they would then have to start catching up to meet their so called percentage.

How can they be random if they have to catch up to meet their percentage?

Sounds a bit like the gorgeous random FOBT's

Surely to God they've got to up the percentage payouts on these now - 95% should be the absolute minimum on these.

But no, I'm sure they'll be stuck on 90% just like a lot of the B3's meaning that the operator makes 10p for every single spin of the reels. And the gameplay will probably suck as as consequence.
