I've never so much as put 1p in these machines, never mind Euro's but it's nice to see our friend in Belgium thinks that Noel Edmonds is a bit of a twat as well as the rest of us. Just for fun Icarus...You should download Noel's House Party, play if for a while...and then when he says "GOTCHA" for the 50th time, put your fist through the monitor. :)

lol i think everyone must of done that at some time.

Hi guys

I'm from Belgium and have a payslots here at home.
If anyone is interested, I'll post some pics.
I had a crazy dice slots (Bellfruit) some time ago, but I sold it.

These games run on adder4 hardware (it's an add on video board
on scorpion4 tech). As far as I know, there are no emulations of these
dice slots yet. (someone please prove me I'm wrong :-) because I'd love
to see these games emulated.

Cheers

Hi Didi :)

Thanks for the link!

It would be a while before we see anything like this emulated I would imagine.

Some pics of your machine would be great.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Hi again

I would like to post some pics of my payslots machines but
receive the following message:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched

I've put the photos in a .zip (appr 8 mb) could someone tell me
what I'm doing wrong...

Anyway in the meantime some explanation of how this game works.

These machines were a real rage in Belgium in the late 90s
and had been banned by the Belgian law. You could find
them everywhere: in bars, pool rooms, game halls, at ladbroke's,...
The new dice slots are based on this principle, but now you
can only find them in game halls severely under the law's
surveillance with strict identity controls of the visitors -
you want come in under 21 and your gaming habits are being tracked.

This is how the game works.
You have to place 9 strips of fruits in 3 containers/slots.
The goal is to obtain as many points as possible, using
your "skill" and of course luck. Cherries, lemons and oranges
are worth 20 points. Plums and strawberries > 40 points.
Melons, sevens and stars > 60 points. Bells > 120 and bars > 300.
Obtaining 3 equal strips of fruits in a container gives you an extra 200 points.
2 winning containers (or slots) multiplies your total score with 1 1/2
3 winning slots multiplies it with 2.

Credits won go to the supermeter, which you can collect, or use to bet
stakes up to 5+20 (you get 5 credits for 1 euro - the coin acceptor is now
fitted with a euro one, it used to be in belgian fr before)

These machines could go crazy when they got to explode (especially at the
highest stake) but could also be very thight for a long time.

Next I'll post some pics of the crazy dice slots I had.

As far as I'm aware, there is no emulator at the moment which handles video based games on Bell Fruit hardware.

Anyway, these Belgian 'Pay Slots' machines - anything like this? It's the only UK machine I know of, where it supplys you with a 'reel', of 3 symbols, and you pick where you want to put the reel.

It's only available online, through Cyberslotz, and to be fair, it's rigged as hell.

Say you've got 2 sets of Bells, and it's your last 'reel' it's going to offer, it thinks for AGES before showing you the reel. This is in free-play as well. I can see why people get sucked in by these.

Hi Bencrest,

Indeed, this looks very similar to the old-model fruit slots we had in Belgium in the late 90's.

The principle has remained the same, but the fruits have been replaced by dice and other symbols now, and usually the top-scoring symbol doesn't give out 300 points anymore, but rather a special feature in which you can win points or money.

I'm surprised this thread is still active :bigeyes20:

Some more, in game.

No Sancun, there is no dice spinner / crazy dice or dice runner etc.. emulation.
I have skill dice rom dumps but that's it...we need a good coder to write a
bell fruit adder 4 emu :-)

The only slots game emulated is the scorpion 2 slots, through mame.

I added some more payslots pics, and next, some crazy dice ones.

Cheers

We all do, but unfortunately there is no scorpion adder 4 emu
(there must be one of course, but not released to the public...)
and it's not likely to happen soon.

Hi guys

I'd like to come back to this thread, hope you don't mind ;-)

I really like the UK style fruities. They are a lot of fun.

Over here in Belgium we, unfortunately, don't have them.

To give you an idea, these are the machines you can find in the arcades:

http://www.wimigames...nner-wimigames/

They run on scorpion 5 hardware, some of them on scorpion 4 with an added video board.

Unfortunately, they can't be emulated yet.

Nervertheless, there is on romset available (skilldice), but emulation in mame is still very preliminary.

Cheers!

That "Dice Spinner" machine looks a lot like a version of the UK "Random Spinner" machine?

I don't know if these Belgian DOND games running on adder5 could be emulated now that we have the new MFME?

Only Wizard could tell? ;-)

And as you have been told

Yes they may run, no we don't have the roms to run them.
