Problem is as I have previously said, FME contains a number of ex-gamblers, former addicts, and current addicts / gamblers, and as history in FME has shown is they find it difficult to trust new faces.

When someone like this who may possibly be new to FME (We do not know 100% if this IS true), whom acts in such a cavalier / bullish way, get's a ticking off in public from FME old-timers for this, then changes tact and places a paid ad on the forum after being advised to do so, then continues on in the same bullish manor as if by paying into the FE pot it gives then free reign to do whatever they choose to do here, it creates further distrust and anger towards this person, and noting some comments from FME users, things are pointing ever more strongly towards a thought in that Peter is very well someone hiding behind their true ID, and for the very reason that they already have a very shady past when FME is concerned.

Another question is as we know there is more than one forum connected with FME, is why only choose FE to publisie this site, and not bother with the likes of say Fruit Forums, which still dispite it's downturn STILL is heavaly connected with FME. Is it because this person is hiding from something and earned a bad name for themselves @ FF, that they fancied their chances here, or may even try the likes of The Mecca or DAD's?

Now, I do have my own ideas to all of this right now, and whilst it's not firm evidence, I do STRONGLY believe it IS a user hiding behind a screen of fog and mirrors and NOT a trustable operation. However to be fair, I could be proven wrong..... I just hope it can be proven and that I am indeed wrong.

But this is all wrong - I agree with what you are saying but it's no more of a temptation to an ex gambler than the many threads talking about various sites and peoples "BIG WINS"..... So who is the mystery person that everybody thinks Peter Clayton is then, I'm generally interested - PM me who it is please ;-)

Solihul is the place where Outback Gaming is who is part of or connected to Union Jackpots. My point is ring them and ask for Peter Clayton to see if he really exists.

Guys, you win. We have picked the wrong site for our kind of product and it is quite clear that this is the case. We never intended to ruffle any feathers and we will not post anymore threads that contain any promotional material at all. Hopefully you will let us keep the banner because this banner did replace the one for cyberslotz.com which is a gaming site that has no intentions to ask for player feedback. So hopefully you will forgive us this. If you want to se this replaced with the original one from cyberslotz then go ahead.

I apologise publicly to DAD whom has made a lot of very good points but my frustration, my lack of understanding as to why we were pissing so many people off, got the better of me with some of the things I said to him. I was wrong and within the context of this site he is probably right. He understands the site better than I do and this show of support is a demonstration as to why we should stay clear. We have always been flummoxed as to why we were not better welcomed and genuinely believed we were building a site that you guys would love to hear about. clearly this is not the case.

We have picked the wrong site, that's all. We never meant to have any malicious intent and set out with the best intentions. Perhaps we could have done our homework better because it appears we are similar in trying to advertise cigarettes on a cancer support website.

As a gesture of openness you will find the following details useful. We are establishing 2 offices. The 'mystery' one in Solihull is based in Concorde House at Birmingham Airport and this provides us with mailing facilities and office space as a lot of the people who are involved with this are freelance and work from home. But we require a place so when the business starts we can hold meetings etc.

The address you require to check our authenticity is unionjackpots.com

8 Sandyford Place
Glasgow
G3 7NB

0141 221 3700 and this will be answered Clayton Graham Communications and ask for Peter. This is the company that is the owner of unionjackpots.com along with a friend of mine from Solihull who is the in games industry and like me, is frustrated with the pishe out there at present hence the reason why we are doing this. Outback Gaming has nothing to do with the new venture and I have no desire to drag them into this.

We are not a large corporatation and this is very much a gamble but we have to accept that we made a mistake through this site to attempt to learn about the business, which I am certainly new to.

In terms of integrity we will continue to support this site even if you may not hear from us as you have helped us a great deal, if that is the wish of the members. I would personally like to continue on the forums but I will await your feedback as to whether you would find this acceptable.

Hopefully this will clear up the suggestions of cloak and dagger. Please remember we are a new business so if you want to speak to me and can't get me then it is because I am running around like a headless chicken trying to get this off the ground. You can always leave a message.

If anyone has any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me through a post or a pm and I will answer any questions you may have.

Our intentions were always good but I have to accept that this was a wrong personal choice of mine and a lack of knowledge within this industry that lead me here.

Your feedback has been tremendous however and I do appreciate it. This has got out of hand and it's time to reign it in.

The penny drops!

Apology accepted although I suppose I owe you one too for getting on my high horse about all of this. Your analogy of "trying to advertise cigarettes on a cancer support website" isn't entirely accurate but not far from the point. I was an addict years ago, probably still am but with age I've learned to moderate what I gamble. Unfortunately there are people here who haven't yet managed to do that and it's those people who in my view need as much help and encouragement as possible to help them stop or at least cut down.

A good percentage of the membership at FE are here for Emulation which as you know is totally free. The coder(s) and layout designers do their stuff because they love doing it and no other reason. If I were to charge for my layouts there would be an outcry and most people wouldn't download them. You see the point I'm making? You come along saying that your machines are better and there is currently nothing else available like them (touched a few nerves that did) and use questionable methods to (yes I'll say it) entice people to spend their money on your site, and expect to be greeted with open arms.

Anyway, you've now said it yourself, an emulation site wasn't the best kind of site to come to for advertising your new venture, maybe you'd be better off with the existing Bingo/Casino sites or sites where fruit machine tips/tricks are discussed. These are where you'll find your 'active' gamblers.
