I've downloaded a couple of machines "Bangin Away 1024 DX Layout" & "Bangin Away 1280 WDX Layout" but there's no .gam file to run it. Do i need to download the .gam file from somewhere else to run it?

yes, there's only a .dat file in the zip, no .gam file

Ok what about the ROMS? If that doesnt work try redownloading and re-unzipping
