Mate this is in an arcade near me and it's the only £500er that rarely gets played -- I've put a lot through personally though as I'm a glutton for punishment... But it eats the coins very very very quickly with no real game play... It can pay big when it wants to and I'm sure if had full utilisation would make a lot of money --- it's just not a machine that people are going to come back to.

It's in Shipley's in Solihull centre, but as I said nobody goes on it really.

Hope this helps.

yeah we got one in my local arcade and i see no one on it, 500's get played like mad too, not a popular machine at all.

having witnessed many different arcades/services, I can say that many people play it, but no one seems to have big ( ie. £100+ ) sessions on it....

I can hazard a guess as to why:

It seems to pay alot of £2-50 wins... but VERY VERY rarely anything over this.... hence people get bored with it...

There's one in my local arcade too. Most I'll put in is a tenner to start with just to test the waters. Thing is, this machine is almost always free, i.e. no one playing it. It's right next to a Cashino, a Rainbow Riches and a new Haunted House machines but rarely gets played as much as the other 3.

Zzzz... Probably make the top 5 most boring machines to play ever. I'd avoid it like the plague...

As other people have said before its not the best machine to have.Seems IMO that people, including myself, would sooner play Rainbow Riches. Our local Mecca Bingo has two RR and they are constantly played.
On holiday in Ingoldmells there were only one Project Mega Bars in the whole town, and it was switched off lol:bigeyes20:

was actually requested. i played it a few years back and agree it does the good £2-£25 and quite often will repeat a £25 straight after. a profile something like this -

25 25 25 50 25 25 25 50 50 25 25 25 25 100 25 25 25 50 50 200 25 25 25 25....500

my interpretation anyway!

Looks to me like thats a pic of the s16 mega bars (im sure the B3 is called play500, has 10 win lines, has free spins symbols and five bars is £50 not £25)

free play is a totally differnt machine that can be bought or was offered as an upgrade to existing owners.

i dont know how it is, but it felt like that upgrade was offered to a machine that was not to be converted to b3... and then they did the coversion after all, therefore you dont see many mega bars £500 around.

IMHO i think mega bars played alot better than free play £500, although the free plays that are awarded are a novelty, the returns and be pretty dire.

They have both of them in Shipleys here - and "neither" get played at all. Seriously mate I wouldn't waste the space and room on one of these machines.

it`s a pain in the back side m8 that firefly pcb is a load of pish© and will make your life a nightmare that sits out side of the machine like one big RNG but holds all the inputs and output`s. why they done this i will never know

perhaps when it was designed with s16/RNG in mind it was placed there, then after conversion it was still usefull ? buggered if i know.
