Just sitting in the sitting room doing those test scans.....

From here I can see the back garden, and a small pond I have.....

Just lately they havent been coming up to feed so much when I lob some fish food out....

Now I know why.....

A massive bastard seagull just swooped and grabbed One of my fish, saw little Charly wriggling in its beak :foot:

-------

Just put a maze of string over the pond now, god knows how many i've lost :(

Time to get some wire mesh on the pond, a heron used to regularly pilfer fish from a neighbours pond. Just goes to show you can't trust any type of bird.

One of my neighbours (horrible C***) used to fed the seagulls and put slug pellets in the food :(

Where I live right by the sea, there loads of these demons everywhere. I don't like seagulls (greedy bastards), but no need need of that.

I got him back a few years ago by getting my sisters dog to shit all over his lawn

Brighton and Hove Albion must be on desperate times if they have to resort to nicking your fish mate....

Seagulls are VERMIN - The rats of the sky. They are a nothing but a pest where I live. I can put a bag of rubbish out in the morning and by the time I've walked across the road to the shop and back, the feckers have pecked it open and are rifling through the contents. It doesn't help when stupid halfwits feed the coonts intentionally in the middle of the town - halfwits. The council attempted to cure the problem once by keeping a hawk in the town centre, but I'm not sure what happened with that idea.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

Often heard it said that if you ate a seagull from Brighton it would taste like kebab with chilli sauce. Judging by the piles of discarded take-away food you used to see there I can well believe it.

Nottingham City did something like that to sort the pigeon issue out, which worked well for a time.

Derby has actually got a pair of hawks nesting @ the cathedral which deffo has sorted the pigeon out..... bastard rats with wings.

Hate 'em!!!!!

Like Todd said....I have to walk through an industrial estate on my way to work and a couple of years ago the local gulls were nesting there. Every day for a fecking month they dive bombed me as I walked through the estate. I had to hold a bottle of juice over my head to stop 'em from pecking my eyes out.

I seriously thought about buying an air gun to pop their bloody heads off. Come on gull, make my day!!! :bigeyes02:

That is so true mate.....I have a breeding pair on my round (actually for the past 3), there were some builders just 'out of the Red zone' and I asked "been attacked yet guy's?"...they thought I was joking till I said watch this, and yup there mere threaten swoops have altered to an all out dive lol......they couldn't believe what they were seeing!

Last year was funny, I was teaching a new guy the ropes....all the speil about dogs etc and I knew we were approaching the do not enter area, I did have a giggle at it.....he crapped himself almost...let alone the Gull!

----------

I'm a total animal lover, but seeing little Charly gobbled up as a meal really makes me think otherwise with them......as of Monday revenge! lol
