as the title says, how can i check the % on a mpu5 montherboard that doesnt have a digital display, but has alphas.

also the machine is old, and cant seem to be read like the newer versions. if i want to check a newer mpu 5, i open the bottom door, press canel then start, and then turn key to read VTP and then actual percentage.

so whats the deal with older machines. thanks guys

should be the same if its an mpu 5 but i have not worked on a red white blue before.

if you can, doublecheck it doesn't say on the eprom as some arcade software the % was within the program and not changable via a % key.

Have you tried connecting a alpha display to the alpha port on the MUX board ??

Then you can get all the info from that :)

Nails if your just checking to see what it is ie 78% just open the door top or bottom the led display will just change from 25C30 to 78 most rio type cabnets will show this also in the credit led display.

If you want the aim% to the act% which you know is 78 then divid the cash out with the cash in to get i.e 0.776142 roll over the 6 will make the next number become an 8 from the 7 there for the aim is 78 also or 0.73486 roll over 6 to change the 8 into a 9 then roll over the 9 to make the 4 to become a 5 then roll over this to 3 which now becomes 4 to = 74%

so this machine would be under the act% 78 the machine would be running at 74% from this example the machine is still not lossing money
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..
