Swap reel 1 with reel 2 and then say what comes up.

it can be 1 of 3 things

1 a faulty opto or missing opto

2 a faulty reel motor

3 a faulty mpu board

or one of the wires that connects into the plug that plugs into the reel may not be pushed in enough or is broken.

do what crazybar said and swap reel 1 for reel 2 and vice versa and then power the machine up.

if you now get a reel 2 error then the fault lies with the actual reel (opto or motor),if you still get a reel 1 error then you have either a wiring fault or a faulty mpu.

Hi All,

Thanks for the help spent 3 hours reading the manual and then taking the fruity apart, I swapped all the reels and found a broken wire. So rewired the reel opto connection on the MPU and finally got the fruity working again.

Thank you so much I fixed it myself before the men got home and tried LOL!! Another one for the girls. LOL !!

Thanks again your help was greatly appreciated!!! :-) :-)
