Loads! :D

Bugs is the master when it comes to the technical side of things. I've just picked up things, and wrote it all down for future reference.

Just glad another oldie will be hitting our PC's in the near future. :)

I just wish I had the knowledge you classic's guy's have, and as I said in mikes post earlier tonight the patience too.

I have said it time and time again, new people to FME just see 'classics' as a 'something' that represents a machine they know.......If they only knew that that's the base-and indeed the hardest part-of what leads to a DX---a DX being what they know!

I gotta admit when I first came here I thought the classic layouts were crap and the real hard work was the DX's.
Of course after I started to play with the emulators in design mode I realised that the classic layouts were actually incredibly hard to do, a trained monkey can do a DX really (even I can) but a classic takes a lot of hard work in my opinion.

This machine is in really good condition (outside) and would love to get it running.

Its spending the night on the driveway in my car as I don't feel upto lifting 120kg's lol

Real curious to open the back just to

a) plug it in really to see what happens
B) see the condition of the board

I'm really hoping its just the PSU.

Sent out some emails to Power Sellers on ebay last week.

I had a reply from 'Andy' who works at SE Leisure in Aylesford Kent.

Popped up there this afternoon and Picked One up, this had a leaking battery too but nowhere near as bad.

Bit of work to do as i've literally this minute booted and it came alive, a few wires to plug in etc and trying to suss test mode :(....there's a test switch but it does nowt, and the Alpha looks like it might be fooked--then that may be due to the board needing a good clean?

Still buying the other board as my bro said a couple of the 'electrics' had cooked....out of 3 got to create One good One :)

It comes from Fairground and the ROM and Sound card was left in, so well have to dump them to see if its a different version to the One we have already...

Right off to play now.......MASSIVE THANKS TO YOU WHO HELPED, and those that read the thread in case they could also assist in some way.

okies, some good and bad news here....

Original board did nothing, 2nd board gave 80%...board One cleaned nothing, plugged in board 2 now nothing with that lol................thats the bad news..

Good news is I give-up and after spending £60 on fuel getting the machine and 2nd board looks like we'll at least get some good scans I hope!!!!

Yep I give up on it :( .... I don't have the knowledge nor patience.

So when ploggy has compleated his hard work DXing you'll really know whats gone into this One lol.

At least I haven't electricuted myself thats One thing!

What is the longest time between a set of cloned machines being released? From what i can see, it's an Exact Clone of Big Nite Out, released by Crystal in around 2002/2003 on Impact technology. That's a staggering 9 years between two machines, which, visually, are simply reglasses!
