Hi all,

I understand that to reset the emulated fruit machines you just go to configuration and click reset, but could anyone tell me how to do this on a fruit machine that I own, it runs on the epoch tech cheers all.

You should be able to do it using a refill key. Or certain ones have switches inside you have to push in. The key is a lot easier.

i can only clear the short term meters with my key and if i try to clear the long term i get"cant clear bank"

Really? I thought you could do both with the key. Guess you'll have to wait for one of the engineers to reply mate. Sorry.

short the battery out if your wanting to do a ram reset please make sure that the power is off first

cheers mate, I promise this is the last question i will ask, do u know hpw to set the clock or get in to photo mode?

once done the ram reset clock should come up photo mode is done in test after keys ie pop and % check or do what most people would do if this feature is not there with epoch tech lamp test and cacht it that way do all flash not single step lamp test

There should be a ram clear option in the test routines, these were hidden on older machines - to access them get to the last 'normal' test hold down the left-most button while pressing the 'next test' button - repeat for each test,
Or the other way you access these tests is to press and hold the test button 'in' for a couple of seconds after you here the initial sound - you should here a second beep to indicate the extended test are available.

roderz ok dave what do you do for a liven 14 years i`ve done machines for m8 i would have told him about any reset/game resets/clear ram/ram clear info sorry it just this post was ended case close and yes i am having a tax moment arrrrrrrrrrrr!

Just to be clear for everyone....

Yes most Eclipse machines the tests a accessible via holding the test button in, and the same on new epoch machines (yep they do still use this tech!), on the 'older' epoch its (copy / paste from manual)
"Hidden tests are only accessible when holding down LH1. These are our specific tests and are not part of the BACTA standard. Use RH2 & RH3 To Navigate."
which I have used in the past on some machines.
You just have to try to see which one works 4u, but depending on what software house coded the machine there could be none at all!

If you want super extended mode you press the far left and far right button for exactly 10 minutes (not a second more or less).

Blimey! hmmm not really sure if i can be bothered to press the buttons for 10 mins lol, anyway what are super extended tests and does anybody know how to get rid of the extended refill on my fruit machine, all i want to see is refill 100p x £1 for example, not "refill coins" and volume control, hoppre level, percentage check etc.

a dill on your epoch will slove this,as there should be a full menu setting once refill is turn via the key need to disable this from the dill

super test or extended test`s i.e eclipse extended test is done as roderz said these test are used for memory dump,RTC set up,memory resets ect.. global-maygay-xtream never did see a impulse verson. may add or remove a features from this


like barcrest and red gaming using the mpu5 in the horizon cabnet bar use the bnv key setting toward the end of test setting and red use it toward the start but test setting are writen to a bacta std on your`s should bacta v1.0 or v1.1
