Its easy when youve been a layout creator from years but for me mind boggling starting out but at least am willing to have a go

No wounder i couldnt get big banker working, didnt know there was a conversion tool. I went of JPeMu to MFME 2.0 Conversion guide of here,managed to get the lamps and reels and artwork of it but couldnt get it working and just downloaded the tool from mecca and tryed big banker but getting an error when trying to convert

Yes there is some excellent machines emu'ed in past history that are crying out for updates and was hoping that layout designers was waiting for the new update!!! fingers crossed as to what layouts get updated especially with older machines

No, not all of them.

 

A telltale sign, is with a layout open, click on diag and check misc. You'll see constant coin 1 and coin 2 on and off messages. Also if you have effects enabled in v6 onwards, you'll hear them constantly going, like coins hitting the payout tray.

 

Simply, go into design mode and configuration, uncheck the hoppers, press cntl R to reset machine and the constant effects stop and the coin 1 and 2 messages do as well.

 

The reason why I did a second list months after, was because in MFME v5/5.1, Scorpion 4 had no effects, so unless I got a payout error, I didn't uncheck them, but now if you don't you'll get constant payout effects.

Ah,i understand i just havin't got as far as using v6 yet for older layouts,as going though each one and updating alpha's and some dont have shortcuts for coins in,volumes are low ETC ETC you know the rest.

Yes couldnt agree more but until such resources turn up or people who own machines or glasses take quaility photos or scans then we after to work with whats on offer.

Without looking at the flyer to see if the original from the start, with what tools was available at the time, could of being made better from the off.

I would say that what Reg has done was an update it looks miles better. Theres a lot off layouts out there where we are not going have hd pictures/flyers but some can be updated this way.

It seems I do, but it has no dodgy pear, perhaps it was updated by him.

right here goes, open up the guvor layout and go into edit mode (red bar) up top then click on the reel and you should see a box like below, find reel/band offset and set it to -2 as in the image below. when done come out of edit mode and make sure you save the fml.file after

Any chance someone can try and explain how to offset reels,as going though layouts at mo and come across some, were the reels in wrong place.

e.g The Guvnor by Dad win lines on top row!! Sorry to ask but with limited knowledge as still learning and messing around in edit mode, this as got me

Not at all.I would love to do a layout, but not really much understanding but i ask little bits to try and get better understanding with help from others i can sort little things out. But even i get frustrated sometimes trying to fix things.But if you dont ask you dont get.

I uploaded the two fixes  before out of the wrong folder as got that many folders open on screen, plus the fact beer is playing a part

we all start somewhere gemini17 i was/am totally thick where computers are concerned 

even layout creating i'm sure i'm only surfing the wave of luck, one day i'll fall off lol

anyways evo are you talking about this supa steppa by ploggy if so it has sounds well mine does, i think wizard updated the layout over @the mecca in the mfme5 release topic, although the 50p button only adds one credit

Lol sorry was under the influence of a few beers and reading it back now what the f**k was i on about

Anyways lets try this way when on go on the cherry go round feature if you land on pear it brings grapes in,and if you land on grape it brings apples in is that any better?

do you have the rb 1280 fruit preserve?

Right bare with me on this one Fruit Preserve 1280 DX by RB reel 3 had a pear for so reason thats not even the same as the rest of symbols

Can you spot it? anyways now change it to a grape with no number as it should be but the cherry go round feature is right to the flyer but when landing on the board starting with jackpot,pear,pound,grape,apple,orange.

Works out as jackpot,grape,pound,apple pear,orange when you land on these but with having limited knowledge if someone could just explain how to fix or just fix it many thanks
