Ok My Top 3 Machines Emulated are:

1) Ooh Aah Dracual Club (I just wish the meters worked)
2) Casanova (Wish there was a £25 version!)
3) Popeye £6 - Awsum game

Other good emulated ones include Snakes & Ladders JPM, Temple Of Treasure (Barcrest), Who wants to be a legionairre (BFG)

I had the same problem, its quite easy to take it off. Go to your start menu and type in "msconfig" under the search bar. Go to BOOT tab and uncheck the box "No GUI boot". Voila! Hope that helps.

I have a 5 year old Acer Aspire running vista and to be honest i am very happy with this pc! Ive only ever once had to do a factory restore and vista does everything i need!

I wouldn't bother with CC Cleaner for the problem you have, I would as others have said try to run Malwarebytes in Safe Mode but failing that it sounds like a serious virus and generally a Clean Install is the way to go.

Ive played a fair few and watched mates on them too, my favourite 3 would have to be:

 

1) DOND GOLD

2) Lets Play DOND (the one with levels like Phycho Cash Beast)

3) DOND The Perfect Deal

 

Dont ask me why i prefer them im not sure, i guess they seem to give better gameplay than others, also the Lets Play DOND is somewhat different from most standard DOND machines, as it has the 5 levels of shots which reminds me of an old favourite of many people..Psycho Cash Beast

Anyway off the top of my head worst machines (for gameplay/profit) for me include:

 

1st one -  i cant remember the name but it was made by "Extreme" and was in the pubs maybe 5 years ago now. i believe and was a £25 jackie and was complete bollocks...sorry cant think of the name. lol.

Doctors n Nurses

Dosh n Pecks (Barcrest) - A clone of Revolution/Golden Dragon and Battle Axe, except this clone was a real bugger for killing you on 2/11 gambles even when full.

High Flyer/Superstar - As Zoltar explained thats why they were garbage.

 

Anyting made by vivid- All just too obvious, if the first board offers lets say £3 then kills you, you put another £3-£4 in and the  following board will offer £4-£5  and so on

 

And finally almost all £70 jackpot machines, i can only think of a couple that ive enjoyed playing  - Barcrest's Alien for one, and Its AMAZING aint too bad for gameplay.

The one that springs to mind is called a different Feature name on different machines but its the same thing..Its the one where you get 10 seconds to press the lit buttons, each sucessful hit adds the cash by 1 and every miss takes the cash down by one, i think its on some Barcrest machines, the feature is sometimes called button basher, its also on "Ooh aah Dracula Club" - Called Cash Bash on that, 4th Feature from top £250 Jp and i cant get more than about £3 off that dam feature.

Its a tough question to answer as everyone has their own personal favourites, some older machine, some newer.

My personal favourites are Barcrest machines from the early 2000 era, Phycho Cash Beast, Arabian Nights, Austin Powers etc, But that's probably because that was my era of playing the slots!

However this is my personal favourite at the moment.. and its available to play online and is very addictive & frustrating at the same time, Thinking about buying it!

Yeah i remember back in the day our arcade had this set on £25, i stuck £2 in and got a super hold for jackpot which repeated! The arcade owner wasnt too pleased, mind you he was a miserable git lol. Then as the arcade got quieter it went from £25 to £15 then i think to £5jp if i remember rightly.

Ooh Aah Dracula i thought was a good clubber - theres one for sale on gumtree, its only set on £100 jackpot mind

hmm never had a vivid machine but with any machine i would probably check the fuse in the power supply box.. the metal box at the bottom of machine, failing that and checking everything is connected i'd probably pop on here and plead for some advice !

I have never seen this machine in the wild but it reminded me of a favourite of mine back in the day, it was called "Beat the Clock" and Tick Tock Cash looks like a clone of it to me.

nah it was neither of those, ill point out what i remember..

It was a £4 Jackpot(three Red Sevens) or £3 from the gamble feature on the right hand side which was 20p - 40p - 80p - £1.60 - £3.
To enter the feature you had to get 3 kinda ring shapes on the winline, the clock nmumbers would flash and you pressed start to stop it on a number, you then have x amount of seconds to nudge in the best win you think is available and from that win you could gamble i think up to a max of £3.

It was an awsome game and our arcade had 2 of them!
