Mines a B3, but it doesn't matter what Cat it is, the HDD will still work.

Was the Rainbow Riches - RRLT 2.0 bpak on the HDD when you got it from Rich?

 seen a HDD on Ebay for £69.99 with 2 games installed: B3 Rainbow Riches and Elvis Top 20, seems pretty good to me.

If when I have installed that and theres still no joy I will have to buy another machine from Stu

It should have the same games loaded on it as the one Terry bought, but I can check and make sure that it's got Cat C/D RR on it for you if you want, and ask him to make sure most if not all the other games are on it, that way you won't need to be messing about with it, and risk messing another one up.

You're entitled to your opinion, just like everyone else, although I get the impression that you're someone else in disguise and just out to cause truoble.

You haven't been here 2 minutes and are already trying to cause trouble, by having a go at other members.

If someone wants to burn him a new HDD then they are more than welcome to do it, I've no problem with that whatsoever, are you offering to do one for him?

If not, then it might be wise to not volunteer other people and state a price, as I feel if others wanted to get involved in helping him, they would have done it by now.

Like I said, I think you're someone else under another name and only here to cause bother, as this is the second time you've had a go about the same person, therefore, you're now blocked, and I'd advise anyone else, who has the slightest idea what and who I'm on about to do the same, before they end up getting ripped off.

Part of me says to get a new machine from Stu but the other half says to get a new HDD. If I get a new machine what should I do with the one I have now.

If I do get a new machine It would be one of the £425 ones + £55 delivery

I'm not sure why you want a new machine, when at worst all you need is a new HDD, the comms error (unless the HDD itself has failed, which is possible as these things don't last forever plus they get a load of hammer, especially when used at home, as they are forever being switched on and off by cutting electric rather than them being shut down properly, would you just pull the plug on your pc rather than clicking 'shut down' every time........ no you wouldn't) is more than likely the usb cable, have you tried a new one?  If you have and this didn't make any difference, try it in another port on the pc, mine has 4 ports but only 2 work, if I connect the other 2 up, the machine gives errors, so I simply don't use them, problem solved.

Whichever way you decide to go, good luck with it

As to what you'd do with the old machine, if you decided to get another one, well that would be up to you, but just bear in mind that a new machine will only have the one game on it, so you might have to go through all the messing about again, if you wanted the other games on it as well.

PS Sorry Stu if I've lost you a sale, but it seems like a total waste of money to me, to get another machine, when he already has a one.

I uploaded another version of it which works fine and added a sidenote saying to only download the new one, but when the repro went down all the extra info was lost along with some of the files.  I upped them all again and it happened again, so I didn't bother anymore.

I have all the files (which work perfectly) if anyone needs them, all they have to do is pm me and I'll up what you need and send you the link.

Seeing the price of SG Barcrests T8 machines new seriously made my eyes water lol. Ive got about 7 games on my Enhanced Rio and think now that will be enough as scared of installing a corrupt file and buggering the HDD.

I took a look at my top box and it looks okay but will probably never install it. Just  in case I need to get the machine repaired or re-imaged like now for example.  I have it upstairs in my office so when I'm not writing I can play it in 2 days I put £300 in  shows you how much I like playing the game even though there's a slight fault on Grand Casino (let me explain that a little better) the fault only comes on when a certain lines that have grand casino mixed with wilds. It resets the machine but none of that matters any more as my machine is down until I either get the machine re-imaged, ghosted or repaired yours Pelham

You don't need to send the whole machine away, just take the HDD out of the pc. 

I'd imagine the file will be too big to email, but could be wrong.

Gav, did you change the operating catagory from B3 to catC/D before you tried to enable it?

I got mine from Stuart £425 delivered, If you go for the Grand Casino you may get a Mark 5 pc, This is where a question comes to mind, Once you've copied games (BPak) files to the hard drive could you copy them back to a usb or do you need to clone the drive to get the games copied? The games stay on the usb stick, they just get copied to the HDD, not moved off it.At this time this may not be helpful now your machine as gone down but if you buy a new one I'd keep the other for spares and repairs, or go the whole hog and buy a new machine and get a new hard drive as well. You have to remember Christmas is only round the corner, So go on treat yourself (just a suggestion) I'm treating myself this year to a new Xbox One + PS4 and once I've got the money I may go and buy a second machine from Stuart to help me with research as I'm doing a course soon in the hope of coming a game technician at the local college it's 15 hours a week for 20 weeks. In the future I want to be able to ghost my own hard drives so If I have a problem with a piece of software they'll be no problems. I hope this was helpful yours Terry

No worries mate, I just can't stand the stuff he tries to do, any more, it's not fair or ethical and shouldn't be allowed to continue.

 There was a version of RR pots but you need a certain Barcrest exe file to run it aparently and I've never come across it anywhere, and I'm not sure I'd want to risk my HDD just for one game even though I've got a spare, it just doesn't see worth it  

Cat C/D is one of the 2 cards I'm missing to be able to play in Cash mode, I've got all the others, both B3 and CatC/D, well apart from Joker Poker, but that doesn't interest me one little bit.
