#332733 Triple 7 Cab for personal use

Posted by Taylor525 on 16 December 2020 - 03:48 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Hi all, it's been a while since posting, so hope all is well.

I've been thinking about buying a triple 7 cab (mpu5/6) with the (would you call) 'modded' version where you can have around 30- 40 games installed for real play.

I was wondering if anyone owned one and could tell me their thoughts on having one?

Pros, cons, what to look out for etc?

Thanks in advance

#318200 Hyper Viper MPU5 £5 ROMS

Posted by Taylor525 on 24 May 2018 - 06:08 PM in WANTED

Does anyone have a game card or set of £5 roms for Hyper Viper, MPU5 in the genesis cabinet, going spare? The £25/35 roms won't go down far enough.

I used to own this machine...

The machine should be able to allow £25 Jackpot or £5 Jackpot (£25 being max) via changing the stake & Jpot key

#314454 SR5 Mech Vs Cash flow 126

Posted by Taylor525 on 09 January 2018 - 04:21 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Depends on the mountings and if you need to use ccTalk / Serial connections, but if plain Parallel based connection, you should be able to.
I do have a Red Show Us The Mummy, which was a complete bastard to sort for the new £ (Worked out I had to use the SR5i variant of the mech, as some machines will not properly see the new coins, though not all MPU5's are affected in this way), but finally managed to sort it with Steve Hunley's help at Swallow Amusements.

Thanks for that,

I have a feeling it requires CCTalk for it due to the looms already in. I have a feeling that I would just need to update the SR5 for it to work I guess.

Thanks again

#314443 SR5 Mech Vs Cash flow 126

Posted by Taylor525 on 09 January 2018 - 02:32 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Hey all,

Something that I have never come across before, but are you able to change mech from sr5 to a cash flow 126?

Basically I have an updated 126 and wanted to swap out the sr5 inside that only takes old pound coins. The problem is, the loom connects to the VEND BUS on the mpu5 board instead of MECH on the mpu5 board and the current loom doesn't connect to the 126. I have changed looms but get 'check software' error on start up... however, if I reconnect the plug back into VEND BUS but not in the mech I get 'coin mech missing'. Is there a way to switch? Or not?

Machine info: barcrest mpu5 Cock a doodle dough without note acceptor

Thanks

Thanks for the responses. In regards to the 2 other boards, there is 2 boards top left of the cabinet and I'm sure one of them is a lamp board. The other one is for stake and prize key. I'll look at that too

From the attached file, you'll see the issue. I've had this before from Scorp4. Is it a board issue or lamp board issue. I can't see much wrong with the scorpion board itself. Thanks

User Booze.net may be able to help.

He's not on here.

I have the 'Excel' document of the flow chart procedure from booze.net, but that's about it.

It states to snip battery off and brush white vinegar onto damaged area of the board, rinse with water, dry for 24hrs or so and test again....

....Is it as simple as that?

Does this help? I used to have it. Also I may have an image of 35 jpot decals

I used to have the maze attraction reel... bloody can't find it as I see that's what you want. Incase you make 35, it uses the 70 reel as 70 said jackpot so pac man could be the same

I used to have It's Amazing. It's like the original of all TIOLI's and clone/sisters. The only one though that can be set to £35, so dating back to 2008 if I remember correctly.

Oh and the headless man on the bottom right...

Try this link video, should help (baring in mind this is the 50p version which I presume hasn't got a 20p hopper)

The knights and the light in the centre of the machine light up. They should flash on 'let em spin'. Might be able to help with the ones that are constantly lit there (as in they stay lit all the time and flash when let em spin occurs)

There is one more arcade further over called coopers. It's next to the carpark near B&Ms (right side of pleasure land arcade)

Was in Morecombe on wednesday on the hunt for an extreme gamin machine to get pics of the reel bands. Didn't find a single extreme machines there, still had some fun in aj ryans snappy land though.

The final arcade has an Extreme machine, but its EPOCH (Speeding Demons is it called?) Don't think that would have help though...

I dont think they did, Nobles kept Coral Island as it had the Casino, which is the reason the machines havent really been changed in a few years

Hmmm okay.

When did that bail out? It was up for grabs a couple years back. I thought it had due to sense of change within coral island. Or maybe that's down to the way the arcade just is?

Coral Island has been up for sale the past 10years plus!-But whos gona buy a failing industry now!
It was owned by brothers-1 owned and ran Funland and the other Coral.
Apparently they had an almighty bust up and parted company.
I'm unsure who owns either now, but I do know that both arcades are sinking ships. :nah:
A bulldozer would be great along the sea front to mirror the fantastic  work done along the sea shore.
The arcades are finished in most coastal resorts and are not helped by the councils they are under.
Another 5,maybe 10 years and I see Blackpool resembling the likes of Morecambe -another coastal ghost town.!

Jay

Morecambe have some cracking arcades and machines there... worth the visit!

Having said that. Novamatic took over one of Blackpools and with getting new machines in (I wouldn't say vivid adders and ladders 3 player is new) the percentages remained the same (ie party time double decker at 88%) so it says anyway in alpha
