Hi,
on my MPU5 board, switch 4 is clear bank on demo, can someone tell me what this does?
I have tried it in both yes and no positions and it don't seem to do anything.
Also, on my machine, weather playing in demo or real, once you win £75 it won't let you go above that, if you win more it simply erases it back down to £75, is this normal?
Thanks.

If you look in normal mode the meters at the top of the machine should count up as the money goes down as the machine will pay out automatically at that amount. I assume its so you cant completely empty the hopper by saving up £125 in the bank.
If themeters dont count up they're set wrong, someone here can explain how to set them up properly I'm sure.

Hi, the meter at the top of the machine don't count up when money goes in, only when I put the refill key in and refill the machine that way.
Does anyone know what all the other switches do on the MPU5 board too?
Would like to know my machine a little better.
Thanks.

Just re-read your post!
I'm not too sure if the counter at the top goes up when something is won, I'll have to make a point of looking next time.
Thanks.

If you are talking about a real machine, with real money, then when it hits the bank limit (typically £75 on a £25 JP, £25 on a £5 JP), it automatically pays out any wins over that amount.
In the emulator, it'll do the same. HOWEVER, if the meters for the layout are not set up, you will not see these wins being paid out on the meters. Rest assured though that just because the meters for the emulator are not set up, the machines internal meters, the VTP, will have a record of all coins inserted, all coins paid, all percentages, and all error codes.

you will not see the electronic meter moving when the machine takes money or pays out money(this is hidden)
you can then check it by reading the meters when the door is open.
