i used to play a machine when i was younger i cant remember the name the only thing i can remeber is that when you pressed hold it would say "Hold it" I know its not much to go on but its all i can remember.

I think there were a few machines that did this, but the first one that springs to mind is the very popular Red Hot Roll.
I'm sure that someone will post a few more examples though!

...and Magnificent 7's - this 'Hold It!' was actually a sample from Blazing Saddles, when the new black sheriff arrives in town, and holds a gun to his own head, saying something like "Hold it! One bad move from anyone and I shoot this n***** dead!"...
Just a bit of trivia - maybe we could start a new thread, identifying fruity samples (no Simpsons ones please, we are totally bored with them!)
