I've just come by a Barcrest Frenzy. Just one problem the alarm!

Plays fine in test mode, but as soon as all doors are closed up it alarms and says:

ALARM 17-83
TAMPER
PND OPTO BLOCKED

Nothing is blocked, as far as I can tell! I don't have a manual, so no idea what it means!

I can't help you here mate, but I'd like to say this exact thing has happened to my Club Monty Python's Flying Circus, got told that the coin mech had a quid stuck in it, maybe that's it for you?

youwill have to take the £1 hopper out so you can check there isn't a screw or a coin jammed.

if you have already done this then it may well be a faulty hopper.

which i can sell you.

I've found somewhere else that they had a problem with a light sensor at the hopper exit. This was giving the same alarm message.

I don't know where it is, I could try giving it a clean.

Thanks for your help, but I've sorted it. took the hopper apart and there was a 5p jammed inside!
