Hi all, i am being as carefull as i can regarding what i am about to ask. I have a certain emu and i'm load a game into it and it's sooooooo slow as in like 10 mins to initialize. Yeah i know about the speed thing but it's not making any difference weather i put 10 in or 100000000000000. Am i doing something wrong or have i picked a buggy game? Am i allowed to say what game it is?

perfectly fine to discuss it fella, so can tell us which games your having problems with if you like.
I must admit i have had fun messing with the speeds at times with this one, each seems a little different.
somewhere between 20000 and 30000 is usually best i find

My Emu does this some times. The way I fixed it was to goto dxdiag (start --> run --> dxdiag)
Goto the sound tab and disable the hardware acceleration using the slider
Then see what happens..
Obviously, the speed setting on the emu would be the first thing to try, and if that doesnt fix it, try this.
Hope this helps
