Could ay body help me with a problem with this machine. The pound coins just keep going to the tubes and dont go under. Intill the coin slot unit gets stuck with money. Tube 3 and 4 stop getting filled when the coin reaches the top sensors but the 2 tube keeps excepting them intill coins jam. I tried changing the sensors on the 2 tube but this did not solve the problem. Thank you

sounds like the wiring that wires throught the plug that connects to the sensors on the faulty tube may have either been pulled out slightly or even broken.

just follow the wires that run through the sensor plugs to check to see if there is a break in the wire.

the inhibitor on the mechanism is not blocking the slots that lead to the tubes. what could be doing this i think this is why it just keeps going to the tubes that is the coins.

I have been reliably informed that it will be your flux capacitor - Use the widget on it and it will not be an issue. You need to run it at 66 miles an hour though if you intend to go back.

Do the following

Put it into test (press the green button once)

Go to switch test and test the top sensors. If my memory serves me correct the tube nearest to you (nearest to the back door) should be strobe 7 data 3, the next strobe 7 data 2, then strobe 7 data 0 then strobe 7 data 1 (this one being nearest to the front)

Right if nothing is happening on all of these switches try the bottom ones. These are the same but strobe 4 takes place of strobe 7.

If nothing is happening here then it sounds like the payslide assy switch harn is unplugged. (It's right near the speaker)

If it's just the top ones that don't work you have strobe 7 down somewhere. A common fault with these is the switch breakout pcb. Take it off and have a look at the soldering. They were crap.

If all these switches work as they should above check that the divert plug is plugged in at the acceptor and the mpu. (This is the small 8 way one)

You should be able to do a divert check in coin test. Put a 20p coin in and when you make the top 20p switch it should divert into the bottom.
Same for the £1 coins. Put 1 in and make the first top switch, the next coin should go into the next tube and same again and the last one should go down the bottom.

Hope this helps?
